This is a self-employed role you will need to register as self-employed
and invoice the company monthly in arrears for hours worked, and
arrange your own annual self-assessment and tax/NI contributions.
Salary:
15 per hour (class rate) & 7.50 per hour (administration tasks)
You will be required to pay for your own training and associated
accommodation and travel costs. Training costs will be reimbursed
over the course of the first 12 months.

Job purpose
To lead Daisy Baby Tinies and Wrigglers classes and Daisy Birthing classes for The Daisy
Foundation Cardiff & Vale in various locations across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan
Main duties
1. To lead Daisy Baby Tinies and Wrigglers classes and Daisy Birthing classes, in
accordance with the methods described by The Daisy Foundation Cardiff and Vale,
following attending training run by the Daisy Foundation. This will include:
arriving at class venues in sufficient time to set up the room as required before the
class commences;
maintaining class equipment and ensuring it is cleaned regularly as required and
kept in good condition, and alerting the manager when items are damaged or need
replacing;
maintaining a weekly register of attendees and feeding back class attendance to the
Manager, plus any issues that have arisen during a class which need further action;
attending monthly staff meetings and contributing to marketing activity for the
classes (this may include evenings and weekends attending events such as
Mothercare Expectant Parent events and the Cardiff Baby Show etc);
promoting other The Daisy Foundation Cardiff & Vale classes and workshops as
required.
2. To undertake additional personal study in order to complete written portfolios following
training for Daisy Baby and Daisy Birthing classes (these will be separate courses) in
accordance with the timeframe determined at the time of training (usually within three
months) this must be done within your own time.
3. Opportunities also exist to work additional hours providing administration support to the
business, helping to arrange classes and process new bookings etc.
