Youth Lacrosse Skills Clinic Program Description:

Quicksticks:
Our Quicksticks program is designed for our youngest competitors. The program caters to our U6
players and requires our youngest athletes to be 4 years of age. The program is coed. The emphasis
here is on skills in a fun and engaging environment. Our staff will work to develop catching and
throwing skills while promoting overall comfort with the stick and equipment.
Lightning:
Our Lightning program is designed for a broad range of players whether you are brand new to the sport
or have a few year's experience. The focus remains on laying a good foundation of fundamental stick
skills and small sided game strategy in a fun and competitive environment.

About the Instructors:

Colleen Farias has been an Epping resident for 4 years and just recently was appointed the president of
EYAA. She has an extensive background in lacrosse as a former Division 1 and US National
Developmental Team player. She also coached at the Division 1 level for Boston College and Brown
University before returning to her alma mater at UNH. Outside of her collegiate coaching, she also
started the lacrosse club program at Seacoast United and coached the Winnacunnet girls varsity
program to an impressive 4 year top 3 state wide ranking. She has 4 children and is ecstatic to bring
lacrosse to our town!
Russell Hero is a lacrosse enthusiast and former college player who is known around town as Officer
Hero, our town resource officer. He most recently has been appointed the director of boy's lacrosse for
the EYAA. Russ hails from Westboro, MA and had a college career in Division III as a
