ABSTRACT

The study of this project is A STUDY ON WORKING CAPITAL

MANAGEMENT OF SRI RAGAVENDRA METALS and this is solely an internal
analysis of the company.
The analysis of data was done using various financial tools such as ratio analysis,
comparative balance sheet, statement of changes in working capital, common size
statement and trend analysis.
The working capital of the organization will be further revealed through the
adoption of various techniques available for analysis. The study is being carried out, as it
is necessary to identify the over utilization or under utilization of assets to the turnover of
the company. It is necessary to identify the `liquidity dimension of working capital`.
The study will be carried out mainly based on the information gathered from the
secondary data mainly balance sheet and profit and loss /Account. Research is an
organized activity focused on specific objective with the support of data collection
involving tools for analytic design.
The study is concluded with findings and suggestions that would help to know the
present financial position of the company and help to know how effectively the working
capital is managed properly.
