MEDICAL AID New Health Insurance Scheme, 2014 for Pensioners

In the Government Order first read above, orders were issued for
implementing New Health Insurance Scheme, 2014 for Pensioners (including
spouse) / Family Pensioners with effect from 1-7-2014 and also inter alia
635 hospitals have been approved for undergoing accredited treatments /
surgeries under this scheme. Orders were also issued to the effect that the
additional list of approved hospitals and list of deleted hospitals, if any
covered under this scheme will have to be notified and also hosted in the
websites of Government of Tamil Nadu in Finance Department, Treasuries
and Accounts Department, United India Insurance Company Limited,
Chennai and Third Party Administrator for reference from time to time.
2. In the Government Order second read above, Government approved
the 22 additional hospitals for availing accredited treatment under New
Health Insurance Scheme, 2012 for State Government Employees based on
the recommendations of the Accreditation Committee.
3. In the letter third read above, the Director of Treasuries and
Accounts (FAC), Chennai has sent proposal to the Government for approval
of 22 additional hospitals under New Health Insurance Scheme, 2014 for
Pensioners (including spouse) / Family Pensioners for effective
implementation of the scheme as the list of accredited hospitals and the list
of treatments / surgeries are being implemented as per the New Health
Insurance Scheme, 2012 for the State Government Employees.

4. The Government after careful consideration of the proposal of
Director of Treasuries and Accounts hereby approves the 22 additional
hospitals as detailed in the Annexure to this order for undergoing accredited
treatments / surgeries under New Health Insurance Scheme, 2014 for
Pensioners (including spouse) / Family Pensioners.
