the season. Chattanooga won on Monday and are 4-1.
PITCHING MATCHUP: RHP Brooks Hall makes his 2nd start of 2015 tonight in the opener at Mobile. The righty is coming off a terrific outing in which he held
the Blue Wahoos to just 3 hits over 5.0 innings. Hall will be making his 3rd career start against the Bay Bears (1-0, 0.69), facing Mobile once each of the past two
seasons...Mobile starts RHP Aaron Blair in the opener. Blair is in his 3rd season in the Diamondbacks organization. He enters 2015 ranked as the Dbacks No. 3
prospect by Baseball America (40th Overall) and No. 4 by MLB.com and No.37 overall by ESPN.com. Blair was named thte 2014 Organizational Pitcher of the Year
and tied for 2nd among all Minor Leaguers with 171 strikeouts. Was 2-0 with a 0.96 ERA (3 ER in 28.0 IP) over his final 5 starts with Mobile and 8-1 with a 3.17 ERA
(33 ER in 93.2 IP) in his final 16 overall. He attended Marshall University and became the highest baseball draft pick in the schools history (36th overall in 2013).
SHUCKERS RECAP: The Biloxi Shuckers game against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos was postponed due to rain on Monday night. The game will be made
up as part of a doubleheader when the Shuckers return to Pensacola Bayfront Stadium on Sunday, April 26. The Shuckers took 3 of 4 from the Wahoos,
outscoring them 18-7 in the first series of the franchise. (See a listing of all the Biloxi firsts on page 12 of the game notes).
ON TOP OF THE LEAGUE: Currently the Shuckers lead the Southern League in batting (.301), while the pitching staff has surrendered the fewest hits
(15), holding the Wahoos to a .150 batting average in the opening series.
AMAZING ARCIA: SS Orlando Arcia, through 4 games is leading the Southern League in batting average (.533), on-base percentage (.588), hits (8), slugging (.800) T-1st in runs (4), 2nd in extra-base hits (3), T-2nd in total bases (12), and T-3rd in RBI (4).
CANT KEEP US OFF BASE: The Shuckers hold 2 of the top 5 spots in on-base percentage in the Southern League. Arcia is on top while INF Yadiel

THE ROAD WARRIORS: The Shuckers begin the inaugural season away from home while MGM Park is being constructed and have a provisional scheduled
55-game road trip to start the season. The Shuckers will serve as the home team during five-game series at Jacksonville, April 20-24, vs. Mobile in Huntsville,
April 30-May 4, at Mississippi, May 6-10, vs. Jacksonville, May 16-19 in Huntsville (includes a doubleheader) and vs. Birmingham, May 21-25 in Huntsville.
The long road trip is not the first for a minor league team as the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees, Triple-A affiliate of the Yankees played their entire 144-game
schedule away from home in 2012 because of stadium renovations. The club played 37 of those games in Rochester, NY.
CACTUS SHUCKERS SUCCESS: Biloxis Cactus Shuckers won their last 2 spring games (including one against Pensacola) ending with an 8-3-2 overall record.
Milwaukees 4 full-season affiliates finished with a record of 30-22-3 this spring. Nick Ramirez led the way batting .438 (14x32) with 2 doubles, 2 triples and 5 runs scored.
The starting rotation of Hall, Tyler Wagner, Jorge Lopez, Hobbs Johnson and Jacob Barnes allowed just 6 runs over 24.1 innings during the spring (2.24 ERA).
OPENING DAY ROSTER FILLED WITH PROSPECTS: The Shuckers Inaugural roster features 10 of the top-30 prospects in the Milwaukee Brewers
organization, according to Baseball America. Of the 10, three are in the top-10: Tyrone Taylor (1), Orlando Arcia (2) and Tyler Wagner (9). Others
include RHP Tyler Wagner (9), INF Yadiel Rivera (13), RHP Jorge Lopez (15), OF Kyle Wren (19), LHP Hobbs Johnson (23), RHP Brooks Hall (25),
RHP Mike Strong (29) and RHP Damien Magnifico (30).
MAJOR LEAGUE EXPERIENCE: RHP Jaye Chapman made his MLB debut on September 4, 2012 at Washington as a member of the Chicago
Cubs and went 0-1 with a 3.75 ERA in 14 relief outings. INF Taylor Green made his MLB debut for the Brewers on August 31, 2011 and played in
20 games, posting a .270 batting average with an RBI. In 2012, Green appeared in 58 games for the Brew Crew accumulating 7 doubles, 3 home
runs and 14 RBIs over 58 games. Overall, Green made 30 starts (14 games at first base, 11 games at third base, 4 games at second base, 1 game
at DH) and was on the 2011 postseason roster for Milwaukee, appearing off the bench in both the NLDS (1 game) and NLCS (2 games).

BILOXI BASEBALL HISTORY: Pro baseball is not totally new to the Gulf Coast, but it is the first since 1908. The
Gulfport-Biloxi Sand Crabs of the Cotton States League played half a season in Biloxi during the summer of 1908.
Many Major League and som Minor League teams held spring traing in the area. Even the 1920 Milwaukee Brewers
of the American Association (direct descendant of the current Brewers) trained in Gulfport. See below.

Last Outing: Hall picked up the win in the Opening Day start against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. The righty
lasted five innings and struck out three while walking two and allowing only three hits in the shutout for Biloxi.
2015: Hall took started the inaugural game for the Biloxi Shuckers, hurling five innings of shutout baseball in a 4-0
win over the Pensacola Blue Wahoos...Pitched 9 innings over the course of spring training and did not allow a run
and struck out 11 with just 1 walk and 7 hits. Hall continued his scoreless streak going into the regular season, tossing
five innings of shutout baseball against Pensacola.
2014: Went 2-1 with a 2.77 ERA in 5 starts at Double-A Huntsville Was placed on Huntsvilles disabled list on 4/26
with right elbow irritation (missed rest of 2014) Following the season pitched for the Glendale Desert Dogs in the

Subero, 42, begins his second season in the Brewers organization as manager at the Double-A level. Subero led the Huntsville Managing Career

Stars to a 77-63 record and a postseason berth last season.
GCL Rangers
Prior to joining the Brewers, Subero managed five seasons in
the Dodgers organization at Class-A Inland Empire (2009), Double-A Chattanooga (2010-12) and Class-A Rancho Cucamonga
(2013). He led the Lookouts to the playoffs in 2011 after clinching
the Southern Leagues second-half North Division title with a 4227 record after the All-Star break.
During his only season as a manager in the White Sox organization, Subero led Double-A
Birmingham to a 74-63 record and a Southern League playoff berth in 2008.

Subero began his coaching career in the Rangers organization, including two seasons as
hitting coach with the Rookie Gulf Coast League Rangers (1999-2000) and seven seasons
as manager with the GCL Rangers (2001-02), Class-A Clinton (2003-05) and Class-A Bakersfield (2006-07). His clubs reached the postseason in each of his three seasons with Clinton. Subero owns a 871-914 (.488) record over 13 seasons as a
minor-league manager.
