PITCHING MATCHUP: RHP Tyler Wagner makes his 2nd start of 2015 in the middle game of the series Wagner is coming off a win in his first start of
2015 last Friday at Pensacola. The 24-year-old Wagner is the No. 9 prospect in the Brewers system according to Baseball America. He was a midseason
and postseason All-Star, ranked among the league leaders in wins (T1st, 13), ERA (2nd, 1.86) and strikeouts (4th, 118)...The BayBears send out RHP
Yoan Lpez, making his 2nd start as a member of the Dbacks organization. Lopez signed a minor league contract with Arizona on January 16, 2015 after
playing 3 seasons with Isla De de la Juventud in the Cuban Serie National. The 22-year-old resides now in Port Au Prince, Haiti and Was 3-1 with a 3.12
ERA (17 ER in 49.0 IP) and 1 complete game last year in Cuba.
SHUCKERS RECAP: The Shuckers resumed action on Thursday and were swept in a doubleheader at the hands of the Mobile BayBears. Starters RHP
Brooks Hall and RHP Jacob Barnes combined to allow just 3 R on 6 H over 9.2 IP. However, Biloxi went 2-for-15 with RISP in the two games, while
stranding 18 runners on base. (See a listing of all the Biloxi firsts on page 12 of the game notes).

AMAZING ARCIA: SS Orlando Arcia has reached base safely in all 6 games this season and through 5 games is batting .471/.571/.706 (8-for-17), with
4 runs, 2 doubles, 1 triple, 4 RBIs, 4 walks and 1-for-1 in stolen base opportunities. His .471 AVG in 2nd in the SL.
WREN REACHING: OF Kyle Wren has a 12-game on-base streak that dates back to his time with the Mississippi Braves in 2014. The streak began on

THE ROAD WARRIORS: The Shuckers begin the inaugural season away from home while MGM Park is being constructed and have a provisional scheduled
55-game road trip to start the season. The Shuckers will serve as the home team during five-game series at Jacksonville, April 20-24, vs. Mobile in Huntsville,
April 30-May 4, at Mississippi, May 6-10, vs. Jacksonville, May 16-19 in Huntsville (includes a doubleheader) and vs. Birmingham, May 21-25 in Huntsville.
The long road trip is not the first for a minor league team as the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees, Triple-A affiliate of the Yankees played their entire 144-game
schedule away from home in 2012 because of stadium renovations. The club played 37 of those games in Rochester, NY.
CACTUS SHUCKERS SUCCESS: Biloxis Cactus Shuckers won their last 2 spring games (including one against Pensacola) ending with an 8-3-2 overall record.
Milwaukees 4 full-season affiliates finished with a record of 30-22-3 this spring. Nick Ramirez led the way batting .438 (14x32) with 2 doubles, 2 triples and 5 runs scored.
The starting rotation of Hall, Tyler Wagner, Jorge Lopez, Hobbs Johnson and Jacob Barnes allowed just 6 runs over 24.1 innings during the spring (2.24 ERA).
OPENING DAY ROSTER FILLED WITH PROSPECTS: The Shuckers Inaugural roster features 10 of the top-30 prospects in the Milwaukee Brewers
organization, according to Baseball America. Of the 10, three are in the top-10: Tyrone Taylor (1), Orlando Arcia (2) and Tyler Wagner (9). Others
include RHP Tyler Wagner (9), INF Yadiel Rivera (13), RHP Jorge Lopez (15), OF Kyle Wren (19), LHP Hobbs Johnson (23), RHP Brooks Hall (25),
RHP Mike Strong (29) and RHP Damien Magnifico (30).
MAJOR LEAGUE EXPERIENCE: RHP Jaye Chapman made his MLB debut on September 4, 2012 at Washington as a member of the Chicago
Cubs and went 0-1 with a 3.75 ERA in 14 relief outings. INF Taylor Green made his MLB debut for the Brewers on August 31, 2011 and played in
20 games, posting a .270 batting average with an RBI. In 2012, Green appeared in 58 games for the Brew Crew accumulating 7 doubles, 3 home
runs and 14 RBIs over 58 games. Overall, Green made 30 starts (14 games at first base, 11 games at third base, 4 games at second base, 1 game
at DH) and was on the 2011 postseason roster for Milwaukee, appearing off the bench in both the NLDS (1 game) and NLCS (2 games).

BILOXI BASEBALL HISTORY: Pro baseball is not totally new to the Gulf Coast, but it is the first since 1908. The
Gulfport-Biloxi Sand Crabs of the Cotton States League played half a season in Biloxi during the summer of 1908.
Many Major League and som Minor League teams held spring traing in the area. Even the 1920 Milwaukee Brewers
of the American Association (direct descendant of the current Brewers) trained in Gulfport. See below.

Subero, 42, begins his second season in the Brewers organization as manager at the Double-A level. Subero led the Huntsville Managing Career
Team
Stars to a 77-63 record and a postseason berth last season.
GCL Rangers
Prior to joining the Brewers, Subero managed five seasons in
the Dodgers organization at Class-A Inland Empire (2009), Double-A Chattanooga (2010-12) and Class-A Rancho Cucamonga
(2013). He led the Lookouts to the playoffs in 2011 after clinching
the Southern Leagues second-half North Division title with a 4227 record after the All-Star break.
During his only season as a manager in the White Sox organization, Subero led Double-A
Birmingham to a 74-63 record and a Southern League playoff berth in 2008.
Subero began his coaching career in the Rangers organization, including two seasons as
hitting coach with the Rookie Gulf Coast League Rangers (1999-2000) and seven seasons
as manager with the GCL Rangers (2001-02), Class-A Clinton (2003-05) and Class-A Bakersfield (2006-07). His clubs reached the postseason in each of his three seasons with Clinton. Subero owns a 871-914 (.488) record over 13 seasons as a
minor-league manager.
