Beforefixingthemonthepolecheckthedevicescommunicationandthetestwearegoingtocarryout

manuallybyhand.Alsothereisapossibilityofdevicefallingwhenyoutrytomountitusingoperating

Test the devices again from the Control Box fixed below the pole.
YoucandothisonceallindicatorsaremountedontheLinefromthebelowControlBox.

a. SettheSameDipSwitchSettingasinthefaultIndicator.OnlyDip8mustbekeptatOFF.
b. ResettheCollectorfromtheResetCollectorButton.
c. ResetRemoteButtonhas3functions.
YoucanexecuteFunction1: PresstheResetRemotebuttonfor0.5s2s
YoucanexecuteFunction2: PresstheResetRemotebuttonfor2s4s
YoucanexecuteFunction3: Press the Reset Remote button for more than 4s. We can upload new
settings without changing the dip setting of the Indicators if their
(Indicators)Dip8isatON.

Conclusion
We can conclude that fault indicator DIP8 is OFF,
theindicatorcannotberemotelyprogrammed.
We can conclude that fault indicator DIP8 is ON,
theindicatorisreadyforremoteprogramming.

whenprogrammingGSMunitsinNetTroll.
YoucannotruntheLNSona64bitplatform.Youneed32bitinordertomakethePCLTAcardwork.
Echelonhasunfortunatelynotcomeupwithsupportfor64bitoperatingsystem.
DonotinstalltheNetTrollprograminthedefaultcatalog(c:\programfiles\....)asthiswillmakechanges
difficult.
TherearesomerestrictionsinaccessontheProgramFilescatalogs.InstallNetTrollinc:\Nortroll\....
instead.
Theordershouldbeasfollows:
1:InstallthedriverforthePCLTAcardbeforeinstallingthecardphysicallyinthecomputer.
2:SwitchPCOFFandinstallthecard.
3:PowerthePCup.Itshouldnowdetectthecardandstartinstallingit.Thiscantakeseveralminuteso
pleasebepatient.
4:RestartthePCwhenthedriver/cardisproperlyinstalled.
