What is Beta Glucan?

Immunologists have known of the benefits of beta glucan for more than 30 years.
Beta glucan works by activating immune cells known as macrophages. Macrophages trap and consume foreign
substances that do not belong in the body.
They "trigger" the whole cascade of immune response and allow your body to produce the most complete,
effective and appropriate response from your immune system.
Your immune system is comprised of a system of Generals. These Generals are the brains behind an army of
immune soldiers that fight your bodys battles. Beta glucan helps make your immune system generals smarter and
your immune soldiers stronger, arming your body with a more appropriate defense against life's daily challenges.
In other words, taking beta glucan is like giving your immune system the special forces training it needs "to be all
it can be.
Benefits of a Strengthed Immune System
Cancer patients have reported that their cancerous tumors shrunk after taking beta glucan.
"Glucan was found to be an effective drug in inducing macrophage-mediated destruction in malignant
lesions in animals and humans." -P. Mansell, M.D., McGill University Cancer Research Center
Accurately recognizes and destroys foreign invaders like viruses, bacteria, fungi, etc. which cause infection
and disease.
Protection from radiation encountered during airline travel, X-rays, mammograms, from high tension
power lines, proximity to nuclear facilities, computer terminals and UV rays from the sun.
Protection and control of autoimmune conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, psoriasis, etc.
Beta glucan helps your body more accurately identify "self" and shuts down your immune response when
the foreign substance (non-self) has been destroyed so you avoid creating any autoimmune conditions.
Quicker recovery from injuries and illnesses. You may even discover that you get sick less often.
Enhanced effectiveness of many vitamin supplements plus pharmaceutical drugs such as antibiotics, antifungal and anti-parasitic medications.
Why doesn't everyone take beta glucan?
Until recently, cost was the major drawback to the widespread use of beta glucan. However, six years ago, A. J.
Lanigan (the manufacturer of Transfer Point's beta glucan) perfected a proprietary method to produce pure beta1, 3-d glucan in affordable therapeutic doses. This discovery has made beta glucan affordable for everyone! A
60 capsule bottle of 500 mg. beta glucan, which we offer on our site today for $69.95, would have sold for
$60,000 if it had been available in stores before A.J.'s discovery. Now, everyone can afford to take the
supplement that only millionaires could have afforded a few years ago.
