BASESTATIONTBS25

The TBS manages a full TETRA carrier (with four simultaneous voice channels) which is similarly scalable
from single carrier sites to large cells which can function equally well on dedicated links and on the IP link.
The TBS25 Base Station is a universal TETRA platform for transmitting and receiving signals which can operate:

In Stand Alone mode with direct telephone access

from BS.
In network mode with dedicated links V11 or G703
(Loop or star architecture)
In IP network mode with Ethernet connections
In extended network mode with inter-connection of
sub-networks sharing the same network code or using a
different code.

TBS25

The TBS25 Base station ensures full compatibility with the existing product family TBS 10, TBS 20, TETRAG and all ETELM products currently in operation.
When the TBS25 base station is used in network mode, and the link with the network fails, the TBS25
automatically falls back to stand alone mode.
The TSS base station has two G703 access units and provides automatic multiplexing on these junctions of
the 'Drop and Insert' type, Thus, it is possible to connect a base station to either of the two access units
and/or to simultaneously use these two access units to set up daisy-chain architectures, with a protection
loop if necessary. The TBS base station can be equipped with 1 or 2 additional demodulators for diversity
operation, that is, a total of 6 reception channels
All the parameters of the TBS are set using the switch, except for the connection configuration. Each base
station has a configuration file that contains all the instructions required for its operation [radio frequencies,
power, and access model.
As soon as a TBS is connected to a switch, the latter automatically sends the base station its configuration
file [this can be reloaded at any time upon request from the TBS or upon detection by the switch of a
problem on this base station], The resetting of the switch or the complete reloading of the configuration file
is always followed by the resending of the configuration files for the different base stations.
