ITINERARY
DAY 1, CASABLANCA

Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with your tour guide. Visit of the economic capital of Morocco:
Mohammed V. square, central market, the Habbous District, residential district of Anfa & Ain Diab.
Fish lunch at one of the seafront restaurants during which the guide will brief you about your tour.
Continuation to Rabat, the white imperial city and the administrative capital of the kingdom. The
sightseeing includes the Mechouar (ramparts and walls surrounding the Royal Palace), the Oudaya
Kasbah, the splendid Mohamed V. mausoleum, the Hassan tower.
Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Departure to Meknes, the old medina is surrounded by a triple thickness of 40 km walls and preserves
the most beautiful gate of Morocco: the Bab Mansour. Also visit of the Royal stables of Moulay Ismael,
the Medina and the Jewish quarter.
After lunch, continuation to the holy city of Moulay Idriss, where the founder of the Islam in Morocco is
buried, and visit of the ruins of the Roman city of Volubilis. Departure to Fes.
Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
DAY 4, FEZ

After breakfast, the whole day will be devoted to the sightseeing of Fez, the most ancient of the
Imperial cities, founded in the 8th century by Moulay Idridd II. Visit of the medieval Medina with its
Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas (religious Islamic universities), the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay
Idriss mausoleum, and the Karaouine Mosque. Moroccan lunch at a traditional restaurant in the
Medina. Afternoon, visit of Medina Fez. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Departure to Erfoud via the mountains and the cedar woods of the middle Atlas, passing by Ifrane, a
charming ski resort and Azrou, an important handicraft centre.
Stop in Midelt for lunch. Continuation to Erfoud via Errachidia and the Ziz valley dotted with palm
trees, which are the source for the yearly date Feztival in Erfoud. Dinner and accommodation in Erfoud.

Early morning, jeep excursion to see the sunrise over the sands-dunes of Merzouga. Back to the hotel
for breakfast and continuation to Rissani, the holy city where Moulay Ali Cherif, ancestor of the Alaouite
dynasty is buried. Visit of the kasbah of the 17th century and the Ksar Abbar ruins, and continuation to
Tinghir via the Tinjdad road. Visit of the magnificent Todgha canyons which rocks reach and altitude of
250 meters. Lunch at a restaurant situated at the feet of the canyons and departure to the Dades
canyons for a visit and then continuation to Ouarzazate via the road of the thousand kasbahs and the
Dades valley, famous for its roses and the yearly Moussem (rose festival). Visit of the kasbah of
Taourirt.

Visit of the kasbahs of Taouirt Tiffeltout and Ait Benhaddou, the most spectacular fortress in the south
of Morocco, which has served as decor for many films like "Laurence of Arabia".
Lunch at the terrace of the restaurant facing the kasbah. Departures to Marrakech via the Tichka pass
offering an impressive landscape in the heart of the Atlas mountain chain.
Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
DAY 8 MARRAKECH

The entire day will be devoted to the visit of Marrakech, the second oldest Imperial city, known as the
pearl of the South. The city was founded by the Almoravides at the end of the 11th century. The
historical sightseeing includes the Menara garden, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia palace, the Koutoubia
and the Dar Si Sad museum. Lunch at the hotel.
Afternoon, visit of the souks and handicraft quarters displaying a variety of items and the famous place
Djema El Fna with its non stop entertainment.
Dinner with fantasia, on option. Accommodation at the hotel.

Morning at leisure and at 10.00 am departure to Essaouira. Fish lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit of this idyllic fishermen town known as the former Mogador and Portuguese stronghold and
famous for its woodcarving handicraft. Dinner & accommodation in the hotel.

Departure to Safi, also a former Portuguese fortress and famous for its pottery. Sightseeing of the
town. Continuation to Oualidia via the picturesque coastal road, lunch at a local restaurant in Oualidia
with view on its superb bay. Continuation to El Jadida. Sightseeing of this town includes the famous
citadel, a reminder of the Portuguese occupation of the 16th century.
Continuation to Casablanca. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Free at leisure and continue to other destinations of your own choice, or transfer to airport for your
flight home.

All prices are subject to change in case of increase to fuel surcharges, taxes, transportation costs, entrance
fees etc. Our base quotations are made in EUR but based on local cost of transport, meals and
accommodation etc. in Moroccan Dirhams (MAD). In case there should be a major change (5% or more) in
the exchange rates between the MAD and the EUR, we reserve ourselves the right to correct quotations in
line with the revised value of the EUR.
