Précis – Kenneth (Ken) Sidebottom

Ken has over twenty five years of solid business experience in Operational
Management, General Management and Organisational Change Implementation.
He worked in the private sector to the level of Divisional General Manager with
Pioneer International Ltd, and then completed a transition into project and program
management, business analysis and change implementation. In his recent role as
Director of Operations he had responsibility for all projects, operational due diligence
for new projects and project delivery. His particular skills and interest are in project
management, coaching and training managers and frontline supervisors, problem
solving, business analysis, process re-engineering and facilitation of organisational
change. For the past 5 years Ken has been Director of Operations in a Chief
Operating Officer - Management equivalent role and is continuing his consulting
career at Sustainable Implementation Management Services (SIMS) where he will
grasp opportunities in organisations that require strong stewardship and facilitation
that achieves sustainable improvement through building capability and high
performing teams that successfully implement sustainable business improvement.

Ken has been involved in more than eighty major organisational change programs in
Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. He brings a wealth of experience,
having completed change programs in many industry sectors within Australasia.
These include rail/mine/port logistics, warehousing/transport/logistics, supply chain
management, building/construction, mining/quarrying, medical/health services,
telecommunications, printing/media, manufacturing, food industry, IT, and financial
services sectors.
