Resume
Resume
Olusola Akinseye loved drawing as a child. He earned an A1 in
Fine Arts in his WAEC exams. He has since worked as an artist,
graphic designer, publisher, and writer. He has authored several
publications for young readers.

Although he is self-taught, Olusola Akinseye has drawn cultural

inspiration from his physical and literary environment and infuses
the discipline of draughtsmanship from such illustration masters as
Norman Rockwell and J C Leyendecker. This combination of local
and foreign influences have given his art a unique quality much
appreciated and sought for by his clients.

As a graphic artist, he is competent in the use of traditional tools

of illustration: watercolours, gouache, pastels, oils, and graphite.
In addition, his studio is technologically up-to-date with the
newest addition of the Cintiq 12WX tablet set. Olusola Akinseye is
comfortable working in any form of 2D digital art and is an
accomplished vector graphics illustrator and designer.
