Todays Game: The Generals go for their eighth win in ten contests Thursday night in Chattanooga...It is

the second of a five-game series between the Generals and Lookouts at AT&T Field...Jackson edged Chattanooga
in last nights opener 4-3, giving them an impressive 5-2 mark in one-run contests...Tonights pitching matchup
features Misael Siverio, who is second in the Southern League with a .167 average against, opposing Tyler Duffey,
who is third in the circuit with 30 strikeouts...Chattanoogas roster features 12 of Minnesotas top 30 prospects
according to Baseball America, including the top three.

Versus Chattanooga:

This is the second of 20 regular season meetings between the Lookouts and
Generals in 2015. Jackson won the series opener on Wednesday...The teams play a pair of five-game series in
each half...Chattanooga travels to The Ballpark at Jackson June 6 through 10...These squads played 15 times in
2014, with the Lookouts taking eight...Jabari Blash played in 14 of those games. He hit just .224, but smashed a
pair of homers, drove in 11 runs and walked 15 times.

Going Streaking:

Dario Pizzanos two-run double in the seventh inning last night was big for a number
of reasons. It broke a 2-2 tie in a game Jackson would go onto win, but it also extended his league-best hitting
streak to 16 games...During this stretch, Pizzano is hitting .424 (28-for-66) with three doubles, a triple, a home
run and nine runs batted in...This is Pizzanos third career hitting streak of at least 12 games, with his last coming
for the 2013 Clinton LumberKings (19 games)...He has hit safely in 18 of his 19 appearances with nine multi-hit
games already...Pizzano leads the league in average (.411), ranks third in on-base percentage (.442) and fifth in
slugging percentage (.521).

Looking For Offense, Will Travel:

Jackson ranks eighth in the Southern League with a .237

average, but their offense has been very good at The Ballpark at Jackson...The Generals are hitting .256 at home
while averaging 5.15 runs per contest...On the road, the team is hitting just .215 and scoring 2.82 runs a game...
Seven of Jacksons eight home runs have come at The Ballpark at Jackson. Jacksons only homer in a road game
was an inside-the-park home run from Gabriel Guerrero April 28 in Montgomery.

April Showers Bring May Flowers:

Jacksons offense has gotten off to a quick start in May

after a slow month of April...Through four May games, the Generals are hitting .302 (51-for-169) with four home
runs, 14 doubles and 35 runs scored (6.0 per game)...Jacksons home run total in five games this month matches
the number of long balls they hit in 19 April contests...The Generals hit just .220 in April with 63 runs over those
19 games (3.32 per game)...Jackson is 4-1 since the calendar turned to May.

Another Milestone in the books:

Fridays 8-3 win was historic for Jackson as it was the teams
1200th victory since the franchise moved from Memphis in 1998...Overall, the team has a record 1201-1183
(.504)...920 of those wins and the teams lone Southern League title (in 2000) came as the West Tenn Diamond
Jaxx from 1998 to 2010...Since becoming a Mariners affiliate in 2007, the franchise is 547-585 (.483).

Looking at the Lookouts:

This is Jacksons first look at a hyped Chattanooga team...Coming into

the season, Baseball America ranked the Lookouts the second-best team in Minor League Baseball behind only
Pawtucket (Boston)...The Lookouts feature three of the publications top 100 overall prospects: OF Byron Buxton
(2), INF Miguel Sano (13) and RHP Jose Berrios (36)...In addition 12 of the teams 25 active players are among the
organizations top 30 prospects...Buxton was just named Southern League Player of the Week, hitting .483 with
11 runs, six extra-base hits and five steals for the Lookouts last week. Jackson held Buxton hitless (0-for-4) in last
nights win.

Recap: Dario Pizzanos two-run double in the seventh inning broke a 2-2 tie and ultimately gave Jackson the win over
Chattanooga in Wednesdays series opener...The double extended his hitting streak to a league-best 16 games...Chattanooga
got tthe tying run aboard in each of the last three innings, but Jacksons bullpen held on for the victory...Three Generals pitchers combined to hold the Lookouts to four hits, snapping their four-game win streak...James Gillheeney did not factor into the
decision, but he retired the last 11 men he faced...The lefty set season-highs with 5.2 innings pitched and five strikeouts.
