WISCONSIN SUPPORTS TRAIN DAY


All Aboard Wisconsin Saturday is joining in national Train Day activities throughout
the country with a Milwaukee news conference where speakers will address the value of
passenger trains to Wisconsins economy and the benefits to the traveling public.

Speaking at the 9:30 a.m. event will be Milwaukee Alderman Robert Bauman and Mark
Weitenbeck, representing the Wisconsin Association of Railroad Passengers. Also
participating will be Gary Goyke, All Aboard Wisconsins Legislative Director.

The news conference will be held in conjunction with the Wisconsin State Budget Public
Town Hall session, a separate event, which will begin at the Library at 10 a.m. in the
Loos Room.

All Aboard Wisconsin will be presenting its position on the need for more passenger
train service in the state and funding necessary to support it. The topic also will be
addressed at the news conference. Both events are open to the public.
