ATHLETICS MANAGER BOB MELVIN:

On taking starter Sonny Gray out after six innings despite the bullpens struggles all season
I wasnt going to let him go to 105. He threw 119 last time, six innings was enough based on the last time. We were
comfortable with the pitches today, but I wasnt going to let him go past 105.
On Evan Scribner allowing two runs after 10 consecutive scoreless outings
He just made a couple of bad pitches to a couple of lefties. Threw a bad one to Ackley and hung a curveball to Miller.
