EIC SUMMER CAMP 2015

What we offer:
A Summer Camp in and around the EIC, a programme with leisure,
sports and cultural activities which facilitate English language
learning. All activities will be carried out in English.
With programmes that are differentiated by both age and academic
dedication to English language learning, from an option of pure leisure
to one aimed at improving the level of English.
This year we are opening a new programme of Spanish language
directed to young people who have recently arrived in the area and
who may need to improve their level of Spanish. It will also be aimed
at foreign schools who wish to carry out a programme of linguistic and
cultural immersion with the option of being accomodated with EIC
families or in residences.

Programme EIC SUMMER CAMP: 1-16 years

Morning activities:

Warm up!: Fast games where we learn vocabulary, speaking

and memorising .
Robotics!: First experience of the environment of an
academicprogramme.
Circus!: Discovery of an artistic world .
Riding!:Riding ponies around the school
Other activities: multi-sport, varied games...
Breakfast time
Pool: The youngest from1 to 6 years, will have paddling pools
outside the school. Those over 7 will go to the Vila-Seca swimming
pool.

Lunch time: Lunch included in the price (optional), prepared on the

school premises, as during the school term, with a Summertime
menu.!
Afternoon Activities:
Nautical afternoons: For nautical learning, sailing and rowing
we will go to the Nautical Club in the area. This activity is for
children from primary upwards. The rest of the children will
follow an appropriate programme for their age within the
school.

Multi-activities and Judo: Thes activities will take place in the

school.
Multi-activities for the smaller children from P1 to P4,
cinema, judo, bouncing mats, appropriate activities for every
age.

EIC LITTLE SUMMER Programme: P1-P4

Programme which takes place in the younger childrens current

classrooms, in which they will enjoy summer activities in English.
They will do various crafts, workshops on logic, motor skills, water
games in the garden, circus, ride in pony and cart in the playground,
judo, robotics with bee-bot ...

Programme SUMMER CAMP: P5-Primary

(Leisure and cultural)

A programme with leisure, sport and cultural activities taught in
English . Mornings with multi-activities in the centre and at the VilaSeca swimming pool.
In the afternoons they can do nautical activities (from 5-6 years old),
Judo and activities run by professionals of each activity and monitor
from EIC.
A programme adapted to groups of different ages.

EIC SUMMER SCHOOL programme: PRIMARY-18

Programme within the EIC SUMMER CAMP for students who need to
improve and revise their English . Reduced groups with 4 hours of
classes every morning. 20 hours per week.
In the afternoons they can do nautical activities, judo and other
activities on the programme run by monitors from EIC (see
programme).

Programa EIC Spanish as a second Language: 11-18

Programme within EIC SUMMER CAMP for students who need to

improve their Spanish. 4 daily sessions in small groups. All this in a
programme of leisure activities which take place in English.
In the afternoons they can do nautical activities, judo and other
activities (See programme)

EIC SUMMER IRELAND 11-16

Intensive stay in Ireland to study the English language and local
culture. 20 hours per week of English in the classroom, excursions in
the area living with other foreign students in and around the Campus.

September programme for EIC families (31st August

to 10 September)
School programme in the mornings for students of 6-18 years
(breakfast included) and morning supervision from 8-9 opcional.
Classes delivered by native teachers.

When:
SUMMER CAMP:
During the five weeks of July 2015:
Begins: 29 June.
Ends: 31 July.
With a minimum of two continuous weeks you can sign up for more
complete weeks subject to place availability.
Option for a flexible timetable:

Full days (with lunch and afternoon activities, ( from 9:00 to

17:00h).
Intensive day (with lunch but without afternoon activities , from
9:00 to 15:00h).
Mornings without lunch (from 9:00h to 13:00h).
Morning supervision will be organized from 8:00h to 9:00h.
Parents can choose when signing up, if their son or daughter will
stay for lunch or not.

SUMMER IRELAND:
From 4- 18 July.

September Programme (will open according to demand):

De 31 August to 10th September from 9h to 13h.

This programme is exclusively for families EIC and those
participating in the summer camp.

Who:

For students from 1-16 years.

Open to students from EIC or from outside the school (except
September programme).

*Families from EIC will benefit from reservations and special rates if
they confirm inscription before 31st de May.
*To calculate the total price for families, the children will be in order of more
to less weeks in EIC Summer.
*The organization will charge 25/week for the lunch service for those
who do not have a reservation.
*Morning supervision 8:00 to 9:00h: 10/week.

IRELAND PROGRAMME PRICE: 4th to 18th July.

Inscription Procedure:
1.Inscription:

Interested parents should send an email with the inscription form

completed and scanned or bring it to the school administration. .
The Summer Camp team will be available at school on Tuesdays,
Wednesdays and Fridays from 16:00 a 18:00 at reception.

2. Payment:
EIC-Summer will send a payment form to the families with
instructions on how to pay. Inscriptions will be considered
formalised on receipt of payment
