Family Fun Night!!!

Thursday, May 28th

5:00 to 6:30 PM
The Arklan staff, along with the Arklan School Council are
pleased to present this annual tradition. Arklan students, families and friends look forward to this special evening every year!
Its a fun-filled evening of games and activities that kicks off with
a family BBQ. A Costco representative will be attending to offer
an exclusive (cash only) promotion to Arklan families. As well,
several community partners will be joining the festivities. Mark
your calendars.you wont want to miss this super event!!!

Cupcakes & cakes (in non-returnable packaging) are needed
for one of our most popular events, The Cakewalk! They can
be brought into the main office throughout the day on May
28th.
The used book sale is always a hit! Please consider donating
your gently used books. Well take them anytime.
Your Help is Appreciated!!!

School Kite Day!

Students will be making

Important Dates!

and decorating their own kites in school. The

plan is well be outside flying our kites at 2:30
PM on Wednesday, May 13th.

May 19th, 2015

Track & Field events for grades 4, 5 and 6 at CPHS track. Staff and
students will leave Arklan School following the morning announcements and walk to the track. At the conclusion of all the events well
be walking back to Arklan, in time for the buses home. Please remember to return your signed permission slips as soon as possible. The rain
-date for this event is May 25th.

Yearbook 2014-2015
The Arklan School Yearbook for 2014-2015 is a work in progress! The
book will be in full colour and every student will be in it! The cost of
the book will depend on the quantity ordered. We estimate the price
will be between $10-$15. This is not a fundraiser...the yearbook will
be sold at our cost. An order form will be sent home later this month.
