Disconnect wire harness connector from rear heater

Remove coolant hoses -1- and -2- from heater core -3-

Remove air outlet vent See Fig. 2

Remove screws and remove rear heater

Removing

Remove upper air outlet vent screws

Using a screwdriver, unlock latch -arrow- and remove upper air outlet vent

Remove lower air outlet vent screws Remove lower air outlet vent

Remove sliding door footwell insert

Remove air duct screws

Loosen clamp -2- and remove air duct -1-

Remove fuel tank

Remove torsion bar

Remove nuts -3- and screw -1-

Remove coolant pipe -2-

Reinstall in reverse sequence

Carefully pry out warm air blower switch -1- from instrument panel -2- with screw driver

Removing

Loosen clip and remove cable

Loosen spring clamps and remove coolant hoses

Remove control valve from over flow reservoir bracket

NOTE:

Release coolant system pressure and drain coolant before beginning repair

Refill with coolant after installing/replacing control valve.
