Cast: Blake Lively, Harrison Ford, Michiel Huisman, Ellen Burstyn, Amanda Crew.
After miraculously remaining 29 years old for almost eight decades, Adaline Bowman
(Blake Lively) has lived a solitary existence, never allowing herself to get close to anyone
who might reveal her secret. But a chance encounter with charismatic philanthropist Ellis
Jones (Michiel Huisman) reignites her passion for life and romance. When a weekend
with his parents (Harrison Ford and Kathy Baker) threatens to uncover the truth, Adaline
makes a decision that will change her life forever.

DAILY CINEMAS: 4:00 & 4:10 PM - $6.00/PERSON

After school he left the family farm to look for work
and wound up in Portland, Oregon working on a dredge
on the Columbia River.

Returning to Montana because of the Draft, he went
to Butte for his physical but was turned down because of
my flat feet, he says.

Wanting to serve his country somehow, he signed up
for the Civil Service. Ill be gall dammed if they didnt
call! his eyes lit up as he cracked a genuine Bud Potter
grin.
And paying attention in high school really paid off.
He learned acetylene welding in shop class and was very
good at it. So when he was shipped off to Washington
to serve in the Civil Service, his skilled trade was being a
coppersmith. Its surprising what you can do with copper
pipe, he vividly remembers of all the projects they were
involved with while stationed at the Birmington Shipyards
in the Puget Sound near Seattle. And he fondly remembers
that to get anywhere meant a ride on the ferry.
After World War II was over, he came back to
Montana and took over his fathers farm (Fred H. Potter)
and also bought another neighboring farm. Asked if he
missed living on the West Coast, he told us it was an okay
place to live, but, I wouldnt want to go back now.

Bud has since retired from the farming business as he
and Bea moved to town about five years ago. His nephew
now runs the farm.

While Bea kept Bud as busy as a Bee, her absence
although remembered each day and kept alive through all
the joyful memories doesnt seem to slow him down a
bit. He stays involved in numerous activities, one of them
being an avid Scotty fan, and he follows their sporting
events closely. He was thrilled with the victory over Malta
and hes just a buzzin for Friday nights football game
with Plentywood. Hell be there cheering for a Scotty
victory and a District 2B championship.

Whats the score going to be, Bud? we asked.
I have nooo idea, he answered honestly, but it
should be a close one. I just hope that Glasgow wins!

Why is a SWISS Billionaire

calling the shots in Montana?

Green Decoy environmental groups funded by a Swiss
billionaire and other Left wing backers are apparently calling
the shots at the US Bureau of Land Management in Montana,
according to two newspaper reports.
You may recall my previous posts on the Swiss
billionaire Hansjoerg Wyss, who has donated millions of
dollars to the effort to buy out cattle ranches in Northcentral
and Northeastern Montana. (For reference: The Billionaires
Battling Ranchers in Montana)

The Environmental Policy Alliance and Media Trackers
Montana have also documented donations from that same
Swiss billionaire to green decoy environmental groups
posing as sportsmen groups in order to advance an
environmental agenda and shut down access on public lands
in Montana.
Now, two major Montana newspapers apparently
decided to print the talking points of these very same
green decoy groups without soliciting any reaction from
lawmakers, farmers, ranchers, and others who actually live
in the impacted areas.

According to the reports, it also looks as though
these groups are carrying an inordinate amount of influence
over the BLM in Montana.

The proposed BLM plan includes several alternatives
for managing 2.4 million acres along the Hi-Line in northern
Montana from Glacier County along the Rocky Mountains
east to sage brush country in Valley County, and south to
the Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge and Upper
Missouri River Breaks National Monument.

Looking at one story in two major newspapers in

Montana today is exactly what is wrong with our system
right now. Huge stories talking about treating thousands of
acres on the Hi Line as wilderness and no reaction from the
actual folks who live there.

In the draft plan, 386,000 acres were identified as having
wilderness characteristics. According to the Environmental
Policy Alliance in this previous Flint Report post:
-Montana Wildlife Federation has taken over $1.2
million from the Wyss Foundation, a group founded by a
Swiss billionaire, and supports efforts to designate millions of
acres as national monuments.
MAY 13 - 19
Its national affiliate has
taken millions from a green
foundation funded by a
shady Bermuda entity.

The Billings Gazette: BLMs Hi-Line district plan

modified to include new area

A plan that will guide management of 2.4 million federal

acres in northern Montana has been modified to include 5,000

additional acres as land with wilderness characteristics.

Bureau of Land Management staff altered the Hi-Line
District Resource Management Plan after the Montana
Wilderness Association pointed out two areas the agency
had missed in its initial inventory.

The final plan will add Lena Creek, located north of
Fort Peck Reservoir. In addition, the BLM plan also includes
74,000 acres in two other wilderness study areas, Bitter
Creek and Burnt Lodge, that will continue to be managed as
wilderness study areas.

Travel and chairman of the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks
Commission.

Friday Funnies

There once was a boy named Odd. People
made fun of him because of his name, so he decided
to keep his gravestone blank when he died.
Now when people pass by his burial site, they
point and say, Thats odd.

A state trooper lays in wait at a speed trap and
spots a speeder.

He flashes his lights, pulls the car over, walks up
to the driver and says, Ive been waiting for you all

The driver responds, I got here as fast as I
could.

Satan appeared before a small town congregation.
Everyone started screaming and running for the
front church door, trampling each other in a frantic
effort to get away.
Soon everyone was gone except for an elderly
gentleman who sat calmly.
Satan walked up to him and said, Dont you
know who I am?

The man replied, Yep, sure do.

Satan asked, Arent you going to run?

Nope, sure aint, said the man.

Satan asked, Why arent you afraid of me?
The man replied, Been married to your sister
for over 48 years.
