Engrade Set Up Assistance

1. Open Internet explorer


2. Go to Www.engrade.com
3. Click the “Sign Up- It’s Free!” Button
4. Select the “Sign up For a Teacher Account “option.
5. Insert the appropriate information

6. Once Created Press the “ Add New Class
Button “

7. Add the class name, then the school year, and what grading period.

8. Insert the students and the UNIQUE access codes for each students, this can
be any number.

9. Then you can select your grading style.


* Basic Grading: A-B-C (10% Brackets)
* 0-100- Percent grading
* Manual- Insert grades by hand
* Custom- set your own grade percents

10.Scroll down and insert your assignments.
Select if the assignment will be weighted; the assignment will be worth a
certain % of the student’s grade, though if you select “No” all
assignments will be weighted equally.

11.Scroll down and select your set up for your grade book.
• As you entered the Class
• Percentage
• Last Name
• Student ID

1. Now you can add new assignments to your grade book, new students, or a
new grading period.

Can also print your grade book, missing work, student reports, and export
this to Excel.

Side Notes: Parents and students can access these grades from home, or where
ever they have internet access.

2. You can send messages to your students with engrade also.

3. You can upload files to be viewable by your students.

4. There is a Calendar you can place assignments on for your students to


access.
• Go to into the desired class

• Click “ New Assignment”

• Once adding the new assignment, check the Calendar box.

• Add the desired info.
