NEWTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT SGT AARON BAHAMONDE #S4 DASH CAM VIDEO TIMELINE
ACTION TAKEN: On 02/23/13, the DVD of the recording from Newtown Police Sergeant Aaron Bahamonde's (#S4) (Car #9) vehicle video recorder,
was seized from SGT Wisentaner (Newtown PD) by Detective Mudry #824 and entered as exhibit # 356B in this ongoing investigation. The DVD is
a recording of SGT Bahamonde's response to the Sandy Hook Shooting that took place on 12/14/12.
During the recording of the video, SGT Bahamonde was parked in the driveway of the SHES, just past the stop sign at the end of Dickinson Drive
and before the stop sign located in the school parking lot. SGT Bahamonde's vehicle is parked behind Newtown Police SGT Kullgren's department
SUV and to the right of Newtown Officer William Chapman's cruiser. The baseball field is located on the left. The video is a forward facing view from
the cruiser of the northeast side of the school.
The DVD recording was sent to the State Police Forensic Lab to be converted into working copies for the investigation. The initial DVD recording
was placed onto two separate DVDs.
DVD #1 (Lab Submission # 030-1M1) begins at approximately 09:38:24 hours and ends at approximately 10:30:25 hours. It is viewed on the DVD
Utility Manager Software provided by the Police Department and has a time stamp. The time of the event was obtained by comparing the time
stamp on the dash cam videos to the time stamp from the Newtown PD radio dispatch transmissions. The times were found to be the same.
DVD #2 (Lab Submission # 030-2M1) can only be viewed utilizing Windows Media Player. The video is broken up into titles and fragments. The
video only provides a running time in increments of hours, minutes and seconds. During the play of the video, the timer of the video runs in the lower
