TRAINING DIRECTOR
Strategic Business Partner/Unit Manager/Group Facilitator/ Program Designer/
E-Learning Project Manager/Organizational Development
Consultant/Management and Business Skills Trainer
Achievement and Skills
Start-Up Specialist: I developed, staffed and implemented training units in three multi-state
convenience retail chains, resulting in model operating standards in all geographic locations. I
managed the implementation team for a regional health insurance provider’s “virtual university” ;
saving the company nearly $1 million as a result of the elimination of redundant training functions.
Responsive Business Partner: As operations division business partner in a health care company,
I led the redesign team for an overhaul of an eight-week new hire customer service and claims
representative training program, resulting in raising customer satisfaction metrics with “newly-
minted” representatives, while reducing training time by 25% and introducing a blended learning
training approach.
Innovative Program Manager: I increased use of available e-learning courseware among call
center employees 400% by developing and advertising multi-course, business communication
learning cohorts. Training time spent in e-learning topics tripled, as did successful course
completion. I’ve also developed and rolled-out a corporate competency development workshop
series for over 500 operations division employees. As program manager for a previously-dormant
voluntary educational youth development program, I recruited and trained volunteer staff and
members; developing a thriving program involving over 50 leaders and 1000 youth-in the space of
18 months.
Flexible Facilitator: I have facilitated cross-functional process improvement teams for a “College
for Corporate Change”, resulting in the 50% decrease in research time and 25% reduction in inter-
office travel through effective intranet use. I traveled across the US and Canada, delivering a
“Quality Care Professionals” service management program to over 600 automotive service
professionals, raising their customer approval ratings by an average of 20%. I’ve selected and
trained a network of webinar presenters who deliver weekly sessions to an international hospice
audience; thereby saving these organizations thousands of dollars in travel expense and lost
productivity.
