current
Responsible and accountable for Notebook Products Manufacturing and
Shipping Release, manage Product Life Cycle (New product Introduction,
Sustaining & End of Life) engineering support, meet turn around time objectives
for product setup and issue resolution, focus on delivery, financial, and
operational excellence across the organization.
 Timely released 2008 and 2009 Commercial Notebook new products in Americas
markets through regional contract manufactures: Foxconn Juarez and Foxconn Brazil.
 Led cost saving project to change notebook key modules shipment carton package
to Brazil and reached weight average saving USD$9.85 per unit for consumer NB with
total saving over 985k, and USD$2.79 Per unit for commercial NB with total saving over
USD167k in 2009.
 Provided leadership to improve Brazil shipment pallet quality from traditional
plywood to more solid cut in plywood to avoid damaged pallets and material in Brazil
and reduce overall custom clearance lead time.
 Co-led consolidation project in Brazil to enable shipment with high density pallets
and execute effective consolidation actions in ODM factories with expected total
inbound cost saving USD$16 per unit and overall USD$2.5million in 2009.
 Worked closely with marketing and planning to simplify product roadmap based on
profit & loss analysis and reduced extra configurations system maintenance cost
around USD$330K.
 Actively engaged ODM factories’ engineering team and HP GBU quality and system
design team to solve customer escalation and factory hold issues to improve overall
customer experience and manufacturing process.
