Dear Diary
Today was a sad day. Kooky, my squirrel ran away.
One moment he was there, but the next moment he was gone!
I saw some of the other squirrels call to him from the tree outside
and he ran to them. I think he was missing them. Mother was happy, so was
granny. They said squirrels belonged in the open air, not in buildings. I shall
miss him. Ill keep some fruit for him outside, incase
he gets hungry. Perhaps hell come back some day. I dont think Ill recognize
