Early newspaper deadline


The Tarkio Avalanche
will have an early deadline
for the Memorial Day week
newspaper to be published
May 28, 2015. All news, ads,
and pictures must be turned
in Thursday, May 21, 2015,

in order to make the May 28


paper. News, ads, and pictures may be emailed to avalanche@rpt.coop or brought
into the office at 521 Main
Street in Tarkio.

years theme was Bring On
The Fiesta. The local nursing home held several activities all week long, including
a Mothers Day Tea, a Pet
Contest, and a Car Show,
as well as hitting a pinata,
enjoying virgin margaritas
and chips and salsa, the
Gary Weldon Show, a spa
day, and crowning a King of
the Alamo (Darrell Combs)
and a Queen of the Fiesta
(Mary Lowrance).

Westboro High School alumni gather

The alumni of Westboro


High School met at the
Westboro Fire Station in
Westboro, MO, on Saturday,
May 16, 2015. Recognized
were the classes of 1935,
1940, and 1945. While there
was no one present to represent the classes, the living

members names were read.


Other attendees at the
banquet included: the class
of 1950 was represented by
Harold Dean Jackson, Hot
Springs, AR; the class of
1955 was represented by Jay
Clinkingbeard and Elaine
Edwards Whitehill; and

the class of 1960 was represented by Glenda Mather


Keibler, Carolyn Hess Stewart, Mac Rightsell, Sharon
Pitner Brown, and Danny
Shaw.

30. The deadline to place
your garage sale listing in
the Fairfax Forum is Friday, May 22, at 12:00 noon.
The cost will be $5, which
will include your name, address, date, time, and up to
five items. All ads must be
prepaid.
