Leaving on
vacation knowing your responsibilities will be covered is even nicer.
Thank you to the staff and Deacons that covered for me last week.
It made my week better knowing all was in hand here. A special
thanks to Dr. Ernest Purcell and Jeff Baxley for filling in for me on
Wednesday and Sunday evening respectfully. And, thank you to the
Gideons for their reports in the morning worship services.
Summer is upon us and that means activities for all ages.
Next Wednesday night will be our annual Church Picnic at the Ball
Fields. We will have a cookout, ball games and lots of fun. Plan to
bring your lawn chair and join us at the Bainbridge Recreation Field
#2. Same place as last year.
Speaking of summer, dont let summer rob you of worship
and service. Want to break tradition, lets make summer worship a
priority and lets remember to keep our giving up all summer long.
We want to have a Parent/Child Dedication Service on
Fathers Day, June 21. If you would like to participate please
contact the church office. This is open to the community as well as
members.
Sundays comin and I cant wait to see you then!

VBS Help
You might not be able to help each night with VBS, but maybe you
could help with counting change. We would like to have some
volunteers at 10:00 Monday-Thursday mornings to help count the
change that is collected each night. If you are willing to help any of
these mornings, please see Stacey or call the church office to
volunteer.
