ACADEMIC PROJECT UNDERTAKEN
Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited at Kochi, Kerala
The aim of the project was to undertake a study on Gas Turbine Control System and
different instruments used to measure various parameters governing the Gas turbine, also
various control logics and safety interlocks implemented to protect the Gas turbine.
Moreover a prototype was constructed to demonstrate how these safety interlocks and
other controls protect the gas turbine. A simulation of gas turbine control system was
designed in Wonderware InTouch SCADA software.
