me at Town Hall for a presentation from Gregory Roy from G.D.G. Environment to hear
about how to deal with nuisance mosquitoes to protect yourself and your family. I am
obtaining some bat houses and meeting with staff about installing them near the Kizell
wetlands as an immediate way to reduce the number of mosquitoes. More Information
is at www.mariannewilkinson.ca.
417 DELAYS FOR BUSES There is an urgent need to complete the transitway from
Bayshore to Moodie. Funding has been approved, but work has not yet started. I have
submitted an inquiry to get the timeline for this project, which will be posted on my
website as soon as I get it. I have requested that the construction proceed as soon as
possible so that buses dont continue to be stuck in traffic on the 417. Together with the
bus ramp at Pinecrest that is presently under construction, these projects will reduce
transit travel time.
