Principals Corner
Summer Office Hours: Starting after Camp Meeting, the office will be open Tuesdays 2-4 p.m.
This year has quickly passed. Congratulations to our 8th grade class.
A great big mahalo to Pastor Phil and Lindsey Mills for the decorations for our graduation ceremony and also for Primary
camp meeting. This year Vacation Bible School for Cedar Lake Church will be held in our gymnasium (July).
Please be sure you have met your financial agreements for the year or registration for next school year may be difficult. If
you are having difficulties please make an appointment to meet with the Principal after school is out. This newsletter can
also be found on line at CLESDA.org.
Target is giving $25 to our school for every student that thanks their teacher. Go to thanksabillion.target.com you will need
to log in with a facebook account and follow the directions. Thank you!
Next year we will be adding the color red to our uniform polo shirt options.
We are still waiting for conference approval of our school calendar, we have attached a copy of our tentative calendar for
next year.
To help you better plan for next school year we have attached a copy of the supply list.
LOST & FOUND: Remember to check lost and found before school is out.

Spelling Test: Grades 1, 2, & 3
Unit 9, Week 4: Friday, May 29, 2015
Thank you: I want to thank all parents for allowing your student to be in my classroom this year. I appreciate very much having
the privilege of teaching your children and working with you and supporting each other in our efforts. Thank you for all your
prayers and help. Its been a wonderful year!
Summer Math Work: Your student is bringing home some math papers. These are meant for your child to do during the summer
to help them prepare for the next grade. Please help your student finish them to boost their readiness for the next grade.
Multiplication Work: Please review times tables with your 3rd grade students during the summer to be sure they still remember
them when they begin 4th grade.
Last Day of School: Grades K-3 will be bringing all our belongings home. Please send a box or large bag to carry all your
students things home in.

may have struggled in school this year.

Computer printout of weekly grade and missing work was given this past Wednesday, please be sure to check your childs grades
on line. All assignments are due tomorrow May 29, 2015.

Lorissa: We went to Grand Rapids Museum on our 8th grade class trip and I set off a security alarm.
Meghan: Going to the library on 8th grade class trip.
Luke: Grand Rapids Museum on 8th grade class trip.
Savannah: When I ran into a snow machine while we were skiing.
Rebecca: When I had a stare down with Gerald Fords statue on 8th grade class trip.
Sarah: When we went bowling on 8th grade class trip, I did really good the first game and then failed the last 2.
