Overview
I have 10 Years experience working with wireless switching products, specializing in database translations,
administration, and call routing. I have worked primarily with the Nortel DMS and secondarily with the Ericsson
AXE. I Have a broad range of experience in working with diverse client requirements and feature sets, both
domestically and internationally. I have excellent teamwork skills and am very self-motivated. I am looking for a
long-term position with a potential for growth and development in this fast changing field. I am currently in Sydney,
Australia and have an E-457 Visa valid through 01/10/2012.

Wireless Engineer II
Wireless Engineer responsible for all Translations support for a Nortel VSE CDMA Packet MSC from the initial build
to the day-to-day maintenance. I have also provided support for an Ericsson GSM switch. My duties included all of
the following and more.
• Traffic analysis.
• Billing analysis,
• Hardware troubleshooting,
• I have worked with multiple vendors for our various products, including SMS, Billing, Prepaid, and
Voicemail.
• I have managed projects and tasks to completion both independently and with teammates.
• I designed the maintenance and operations plan for the Nortel MSC to provide a basic level of safety and
security precautions.
• I have also been one of the primary sources of training, advocacy, and education for all aspects of the
Nortel product to the entire company as this was their first Nortel product.
I was the manager of a team of four other engineers providing Translations and Database Engineering support for
Nortel Amps, TDMA, CDMA, GSM, UMTS, ATCA and PMSC platforms directly for Nortel Networks, all working
remotely and even internationally. I performed software and application implementation on the Nortel platforms,
including:
• E911.
• OTA Services.
• LNP.
• Database Audits.
• HLR database.
• Feature implementation.
• International databases.
• Equal Access.
• Roaming Data.
We performed services for numerous companies on behalf of Nortel Networks, including but not limited to:
AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Alltel, Cincinnati Bell, Dobson Cellular, Cable & Wireless, Comcel Haiti, US
Cellular, Cellular South, Guyana Tel & Tel, Telesur Suriname, Nuevatel Bolivia, TSU Ukraine, and others. We
were also often called upon to be project managers and primary engineering liaisons with customers; assisting
the customer to understand and work with the Nortel platform. I also was responsible for the training and skills
growth of my team, providing education and methods to grow their abilities and expand the tasks they could
take on. I also provided financial overviews and broad planning for future budget allocations to ensure
profitable growth of the group.
I provided Translations and Database Engineering support for Nortel Amps, TDMA, CDMA, GSM, UMTS, and

Comcel Haiti, US Cellular, Cellular South, Suncom, O2 UK, Guyana Tel & Tel, Telesur Suriname, Nuevatel Bolivia,
BSNL India, Baiykal Westcom Russia, and others.
I performed installation, maintenance, and support for Nortel Networks TDMA/Amps Cellsites, and MTX Switches in
numerous locations throughout the USA. I was also the site lead and liason with the customer in many situations;
providing planning, guidance, and management of site crew. My duties also included training for new employees
and less experienced technicians. I performed work for Western Wireless, Price Wireless, Bell Atlantic, Dobson
Cellular, and others.

I performed retail sales of phone equipment, subscriptions and customer service. I was promoted to be supervisor
over the Service and Repair department, as well as being an on-site IT liason.
