Background:
Green School
Green School is an effort to provide students hands-on experience of the natural world
while attain the knowledge, values, and skills to live in harmony. It prepares students to be
critical thinker, bear responsibilities and stand as green leaders of their communities.
Adhered to this view, two schools (Rastriya Secondary School & Rastriya Primary School)
have been selected in Korak Village Development Committee to establish as green school
model. Green School allows student-learning environment to champion sustainability in
the long run. For this, virtual learning has become important for capacity building in
present context. The Hhenstrasse Elementary School from Dusseldorf, Germany has
established friendly bilateral relation with Rastriya Primary School. Students profile
exchange happened already and now necessitates the virtual connection and
communication between them.
