This document describes how to use SAP Screen Personas Silverlight version to merge
information from different tabs of a screen into one tab. The basic handling of SAP Screen
Personas is not laid out here. We assume that you know how to start SAP Screen Personas, how
to create a new flavor and how to work with that flavor.
The document is not meant to replace the product documentation but rather supports a user by
guiding him through the most important process steps.

In this How-To guide we will explain how to merge information from different tabs of a GUI screen
into one tab with the help of SAP Screen Personas.
We use transaction VA03 Display Sales Order as an example. On the Sales tab we want to
include additional information which is available on another tab. To be more precise: our goal is to
move the status information from the Shipping tab to the Sales tab.
4.2
On the Personas screen start transaction VA03, enter a sales order number and press Enter to
open the sales order display. Then create a new flavor (or edit an existing one for VA03):
A name for the flavor has to be provided and then the flavor is ready for editing.
4.3
First open the tab list by double-clicking the right upper corner of the tab area:
Tab caching is required in order to have data from different tabs available even if the tabs are not
visible.
Once the caching is enabled you can already make your choice which of the tabs shall be visible
later on. At least the Sales tab and the Shipping tab need to be visible to be able to proceed with
our example:
Save the flavor and exit the Edit mode by pressing the Save and Exit button:
4.4
Back in Edit mode the appropriate screen elements need to be selected and moved to a parking
lot in the header area, outside of the tab:
.
Again save and exit the Edit mode.
Select the target tab then edit the flavor and move the parked screen elements to their final
position within the Sales tab:
Finally we can also hide the Shipping tab as we assume it will not be longer used in this special
context.
