The Acknowledgement

Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat quietly in a chair.

Perhaps you sent those beautiful flowers that we saw sitting there.
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say.
Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day.
Whatever you did to console our hearts,
We thank you so much for whatever part.

Look For Me In Rainbows

Time for me to go now, I won't say goodbye
Look for me in rainbows, way up in the sky
In the morning sunrise when all the world is new
Just look for me and love me as you know I loved you
Time for me to leave you, I won't say goodbye
Look for me in rainbows, high up in the sky
In the evening sunset, when all the world is through,
Just look for me and love me, and I'll be close to you
It won't be forever, the day will come and then
My loving arms will hold you, when we meet again
Time for us to part now, we won't say goodbye
Look for me in rainbows, shining in the sky.
Every waking moment, and all your whole life through
Just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you.
Just wish me to be near you, and I'll be there with you.

Alfred Wise

Life's Reflection

The Order of Service

Alfred Wise was born on November 9, 1953 to bless his parents,

Josephine Wise and Louis Mathews. Surrounded by his loving family,
he departed this life on April 11, 2015 at 3:36 p.m.

Alfred attended Hughes High School. It was there that he met Diane
Madden, his soul mate. The two were married on June 3, 2002 but
they shared 45 years of love and life adventures. From their union
came their son, Alfred Madden, who is absolutely adored. Nothing
was more important to Alfred than family. He loved spending time
with his wife and son, siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins, but he
especially cherished the time he spent with his three granddaughters.
He was their "Paw Paw", and they were his heart.

On Februray 20, 2011, Alfred accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and
Savior and was baptized by Pastor Bruce Hill. He was a dedicated and
faithful member of New Beginning Community Church in Newport,
Kentucky. He had an uplifting and caring spirit. His joking and fun
nature made him a joy to be around.
Alfred held various jobs throughout his life, but for the past 18 years,
he worked for Rumpke. He enjoyed his job and held dear the
relationships he formed with his co-workers. Alfred remained a
faithful, hardworking member of the Rumpke team until February 27,
2015. That was the day his illness would no longer allow him to
continue his employment.

Interment
Spring Grove Cemetery

Alfred was a kind, sweet, gentle soul. To know Alfred was to love him.
He was always there for his family and friends, no matter the need or
request. We'll miss his unmistakable laughter, his big heart, and his
love. There's no more pain, no more sickness. Every one of us gained
a guardian angel because surely Alfred heard the Lord say "Well done
thou good and faithful servant...enter thou into the joy of your Lord".
Alfred was preceded in death by his brother Kirk Wise; his parents,
Josephine Wise and Louis Mathews. He leaves to cherish his precious
memory: his wife, Diane Wise; son, Alfred (Missy) Madden; his
granddaughters, Briahna, Britney, and Briale Simpson; sisters, Delores
Gartrell, Yvonne (Charles) Lett and Patricia Orr; brothers, Louis
Mathews, Leonard, Leroy, Ronald and Michael Wise; uncle, Alphonso
(Rena) Howard; sisters-in-law, Renee Jackson and Johnnie Kodarazavi;
and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and his beloved dog Roscoe.
