THE WOODCUTTER STORY

There once lived a poor woodcutter. His name is Sanderson. He had a wife and a
grown-up kids. He was very honest. He earned his livelihood by selling wood in
the market. One day, he and his son went to the woods. While he was cutting a
wood near a river, suddenly his axe fell into it. The river was very deep.
Sanderson nor his son did not know how to swim or dive. So, they were sitting
there sadly. Then suddenly! A miracle thing happened

ACT 1

: Hi!

: Who are you?
Luna
: I am the Fairy who lives on top of this tree. My name is Luna!
Ben
: Ouch! Im not dreaming?
Luna
: You two look so sad earlier. What is the problem?
Mr
: My axe fell into the river
Luna
: I can find it back for you!
Mr
: Really?
Luna
: Sure!
Ben
: But the riverits very deep! Look, the water is also flowing
swiftly, it is dangerous!

: *chuckles* Do not worry about me!
The fairy then swoops into the river! As they were waiting, Sanderson was
thinking if the fairy would really return with his axe of if hes just being fooled.
After a several minutes, the fairy reappears

: Have you found it?
Luna
: I did! Butthere were 2 axes in the river and, Im not sure
which axe belongs to you.
This is a golden axe. Is this yours?

: Wow! Is that a real gold?
Luna
: Yes, boy!
Mr
: Its not mine.
Luna
: Are you sure?
Mr
: How can I had a golden axe? I mean, look at me. That is
certainly not mine.
Luna
: Well then, I believe this wooden axe is yours.
Mr
: Yes! Thats it! Im so glad youve found my axe!

The fairy then gives the wooden axe to Sanderson. They thanked the
Fairy repeatedly. As theyre about to leave, the fairy calls them back

After that, they went home happily.

As Sanderson family is having a family bonding, their neighbour, Marie heard the
conversation. She was curious about where did the family got the golden axe.
Shes determined to know about it. The next day

And then Mrs Sanderson told Marie the whole story

gold in the streets
just waiting for someone to scoop it up! If I get another one, I

The next day, Mrs Sanderson goes to the woods. She purposely throws the
wooden axe into the river, hoping for the fairy to appear. But the fairy did not
appear this time. So she walks around with her sulking face

choice they have is to bring Mrs Sanderson back to the woods and beg for the
Fairy to undo the curse
