Resignation
Respected Commander,
With due respect and all the departmental protocols/formalities, the
applicant (Const. Shahid Imran, No. 1024/C) tenders his resignation from his job on this
date (01.01.2015) on the reasons below:
That, the applicant is a student of Ph.D at the University of the Punjab,
Lahore. That on .2014 the applicant applied (through proper channel) for Study Leave
vide application bearing dispatch No. /PHP2-SKP dated
and for the purpose to be
heard in Orderly Room before worthy Additional IG/PHP Lahore, an application bearing
dispatch No. /PHP2-SKP dated
was also sent to office DSP/PHP Sheikhupura. The
application was neither forwarded nor returned back to the applicant. A second
application bearing dispatch No. /PHP2-SKP dated for the same purpose was apprised
to the said office but again district DSP/PHP did not even think to glance at it. (Notably
to mention here that the applicant also sent application for NOC for CSS Examination2015 vide dispatch No. /PHP2-SKP dated
, which was also not forwarded or even
returned back, ultimately I was barred to apply for CSS exam). Disappointedly, I have to
break the departmental norm of Through Proper Channel, and for getting my
application for Study Leave and Orderly Room signed, appeared on 11.11.2014 before
the worthy SSP/PHP Lahore Region with a new set of applications (for Study Leave
bearing dispatch No. /PHP2-SKP dated
and for Orderly Room bearing dispatch No.
/PHP2-SKP dated
). Fortunately, the worthy SSP/PHP Lahore Region took a
sympathetic consideration, and forwarded both of applications (Study Leave + OR) vide
dispatch No. 4203/OSI-SSP-PHP, and 4216/OSI-PHP to worthy DIG/PHP office Lahore.
The applicant waited for almost couple of weeks.
enlisted in this department as constable on 20-07-2004. At the time of joining, his
qualification was intermediate. In 2008, promotion List-A exam was conducted by the
department. The applicant was very enthusiastic and in-fact got overall top position in the
region. But soon realized that is a student of Ph.D (Communication Studies) at the
University of the Punjab, Lahore. Before admitting at this university, the applicant was
also offered an admission in Ph.D at Gomal University, D.I. Khan

Discriminatory behavior was
I was treated with demeaning, patronizing and dismissive attitude in Orderly Room. Why
this discrimination
