The Commissioner of MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF GREATER MUMBAI invites e-Tender
for following subject matter i.e Supply, Testing, Installation and Commission of vacuum chlorinators
(The chlorinator units main part RVR, DPR/BPR, Flow meter, Feed Regulator/Rate Valve, Ejector with
Check Valve offered shall be fully imported and of specified make only) and booster pumps for
chemical section, Bhandup Complex Water Treatment Plant from manufacturers/Authorized Dealer or
their authorized agents/representative on item rate basis.
Sub:- Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of vacuum chlorinators and booster pumps for
chemical section, Bhandup Complex Water Treatment Plant.

Post Qualifying Criteria:

The average annual turnover of the Tenderer shall be at least Rs 1.15 crores
Financial :
during last three financial year i.e. 2010- 11, 2011- 12 & 2012-13.

Technical :
1.

The tenderer shall offer Imported Chlorinators of make:

i) Siemens Inc, Water Technologies Division USA/ Siemens AG , Water
Technologies Division Germany (Earlier known as Wallace and Tiernan )
OR

ii) Metito manufactured by Control Matic ABW, Slovenija (Slovenia), Europe,

OR

iii) Lutz-Jesco GmbH, Germany. OR

iv) Severn Trent Water Purification Inc., USA (Earlier known as Capital control
Company Inc.USA ).

The tenderer shall submit documentary proof of satisfactory

performance that min 2 nos of 25 kg per hour or higher capacity
chlorinators of make offered by them from above mentioned makes
have operated at single location for minimum 3 years in India at any
plant of Municipal/Semi Gov/Government.
Authorized dealer/ agent/representative shall have experience of
execution of a turnkey project in chemical field and must have
executed the work to the tune of 45 lakhs as a single work order.

If the tender is Authorized Dealer they shall submit Authorization letter

in prescribed format at Annexure I from Manufacturer.

If the tender is agent/representative they shall submit Authorization
letter in prescribed format at Annexure I from manufacturer /
Authorized dealer.
Past performance certificates, including the work order number and date, cost of the work,
contract period, etc. shall be annexed by the bidder while submitting the offer.
The tenderer shall have to pay E-Tender price of Rs.10,500.00 (including VAT) through online
payment gateway before downloading the tender document.
Earnest Money Deposit (EMD):
The tender deposit shall be paid by Demand Draft only. The tenderers are required to pay the
tender deposit (EMD) in favor of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. The tenderer shall upload
the scanned copy of such DD in Packet 'A' of the tender. Also they shall submit DD physically in
Packet 'A' on or before the due date of the tender.
The registered Municipal contractor having standing deposit as per revised circular with
MCGM need not pay Earnest money deposit. In case the standing deposit paid by the registered
municipal contractor falls short of EMD required the contractor will have to pay difference between
EMD and standing deposit.
The M.S.S.I.D. Corporation Ltd., A Govt. of Maharashtra Undertaking has been exempted from
the payment of tender deposit while participating in tenders floated by M.C.G.M. in their own capacity
and not to small-scale units of M.S.S.I.D. Corp. Ltd.
Pre-bid conference shall be held on
07/01/2014 at 03:30 pm in the office of the Deputy
Municipal Commissioner (Special Engineering), 3rd floor, Municipal Head Office, Annex Building,
Mahapalika Marg, Mumbai 400 001. The bidders who have paid the E-tender fee, will only be
allowed to participate in Pre-Bid meeting. The bidders shall have to submit their quarries in writing ,
three days before pre-bid meeting.
