Key processes to be followed

Use soft flame to heat metal to temperature which will melt solder.
Use soldering flux or flux-cored solder to obtain good joint.
Silver solder generally is flux-coated.
Ensure good ventilation when silver soldering.
Higher temperature will result in greater glare tinted lenses recommended.
Powder flux can release harmful fumes provide good ventilation in area, or
if ventilation in area is not good, provide suitable respiratory protection.
Molten metal will spatter if flame pops tinted lenses or face shield
necessary.
Body protection (e.g., leather apron) recommended.
Molten metal will be sprayed from cut area ensure that precautions are
taken to reduce risk of fire keep area clear of combustible material.
Depending on the type of work, leather clothing (jacket, apron, spats, etc.)
may be required for cutting operations.
Welding goggles or face shield with appropriate filters must be worn.
