SENSATIONS
Peugeot combines crossover know-how and driving
expertise in the innovative 2008 Crossover and offers
new sensations thanks to a driving position that gives
you a different view of the road. As soon as you get
inside the 2008, you will discover an ergonomic driving
position where all the controls are within easy reach: the
smaller steering wheel offers precision and agility, the
head up instrument panel improves the field of vision
and the touch screen* is equipped with intuitive
technology. In addition, its ground clearance, stainless
steel front and rear scuff plates* and Grip Control*
place the driver in a crossover universe.

ELEGANCE AND
STRENGTH
Innovative from the first glance, 2008 Crossover merges
the elegant style of the Peugeot brand and the attitude
and strength of a modern SUV with a compact urban
vehicle.
The finely sculpted bonnet demonstrates protection and
refinement. The dynamic and elegant movement of the
wing shows off its profile. A wave of roof emerges
from above the back seats and features an exclusive
design cut into the metal.
Then the eye rests on the rear of the vehicle, which
elegantly links the 2008s strength with its dynamism.
The large boot space, with low loading height, is
covered by a distinctive roof inspired by RCZ. The wide
tailgate is framed by lights, solidly set into the
bodywork and fitted with three luminous claws which
are illuminated from behind by LEDs.
The precisely designed roof bars add the finishing
touches to the energy and fun of the 2008. The expanse
of glazed surfaces and the large panoramic glass roof*
promise a spacious interior which is open to its
environment.

WELCOME TO THE
LIGHT
When you settle into the 2008 Crossovers interior, you
will benefit from the elegant atmosphere where the
finely crafted dcor works in harmony with the
ultramodern mood lighting.
A real invitation to the touch, the silky dashboard
contains elements in satin chrome. The wide panoramic
glass roof* literally opens up the interior space by
bringing a sense of freedom and an exceptional light
into the cabin.
Finally, the blue LED instrument dial surrounds* and
light guides in the panoramic glass roof* diffuse a
subdued blue light while the PEUGEOT LED TRACK**
provides an ambient white lighting from the laser cut
headlining, offering 2008 an extraordinary range of
lighting solutions.

AGILITY AND
DEXTERITY
Thanks to Grip Control* (optimising traction in low grip
conditions), the 2008 Crossover leads you on your way to
living brand new experiences. Sand or snow, summer or
winter, 2008 adapts to the terrain and helps you overcome
the obstacles of the road. With its specific mud and snow
tyres, Grip Control* facilitates the movement of this twowheel drive vehicle letting you escape on a relaxing drive.
On snow, mud or sand, the Grip Control dial lets you
choose the appropriate mode for the surface you
encounter. There are five available modes:

COMFORT AT YOUR FINGERTIPS

2008 innovates in the crossover world by adopting an interior architecture that makes
driving intuitive. Sitting comfortably, being at one with your car, youll discover natural
ergonomics with a focus on safety. You can access all the information necessary for
driving and comfort without taking your eyes off the road.
SOUND AND CONNECTIONS ON BOARD
From the Active level, the dashboard features a 7 touch screen conveniently located at
your fingertips. It allows you intuitive access to various functions: radio, hands-free
Bluetooth, music via USB or audio streaming, on-board trip computer, satellite
navigation*. You can also connect your digital music player, smartphone or USB. Once
connected to the USB port, all information is displayed on the multifunction display
screen and can be accessed using the controls on the steering wheel.
PARK ASSIST*
Thanks to its automated technology, parking or leaving a space is no longer a
constraint. The Park Assist system assesses the size of space available to ensure that it
fits the dimensions of your vehicle. Ultrasonic sensors and steering management take
over to manoeuvre in and out of the parking space for you. Acceleration, braking, gear
changes and use of the clutch in a manual transmission are left in your control. During
entry and exit of the parking space, the system provides you with visual and audio
information to ensure your safety.

SPACE AND
CONVENIENCE
2008 Crossover provides exceptional interiors to ensure
optimal comfort. The rear passenger seats are generously
proportioned and the parcel shelf has been designed with a
front section that lifts, allowing access to the boot
compartment even when 2008 is in motion.
The boot has a low loading height of 60 cm and a brushed
stainless steel protective lining*. The 1/3-2/3 modular back
seats allow you to vary the boot volume from 360 dm3** to
a flat floor of 1194 dm3**. Pressing the button at the top of
the backrest is enough to tilt the back, allowing the seats to
fold down automatically.
Five rails are set into the floor of 2008, running from the
boot edge to the back seats, to facilitate the movement of
objects in the load space. Six lashing eyes allow luggage to
be stowed away safely. Practical down to the finest detail,
the boot has two storage areas on the sides, each with a
retaining strap and a storage net.

CONSUMPTION AND EMISSIONS

Peugeot uses its technological expertise to reduce the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of its
engines.
New generation 3-cylinder engines
This generation of engine block allows a real improvement in terms of fuel consumption and CO2
emissions, while offering a good level of performance. The PureTech 1.2 e-VTi engine allows 2008
to offer a petrol engine with 99g CO2/km.
E-HDi and PureTech e-VTi Stop & Start technology
The 2008 offers Stop & Start technology on diesel (e-HDi) and petrol (PureTech e-VTi) engines.
Quick, efficient and quiet, it limits fuel consumption and CO2 emissions at every opportunity
thanks to the engine stopping whenever the vehicle is stationary and restarting almost
instantaneously and without vibration.

The fuel consumption detailed in the table above corresponds to the values approved following European regulations, applicable
to all manufacturers and to all cars sold in Europe. These values allow you to compare vehicles and inform your choice:
- Urban consumption is obtained over an approximate 4km course of urban type driving.
- Extra Urban consumption is obtained over an approximate 7km course of extra urban type driving.
- Combined fuel consumption is an average of the two courses, over an approximate course of 11km.
These values are obtained under strict test conditions (temperature, mass, characteristics of roller test bench, etc...) and a very
steady driving profile. The real traffic conditions, weather conditions, driving style, tyre pressures, extensive use of air
conditioning and/or heating and vehicle condition can lead to a variance of consumption different from those approved.

SAFETY
The safety equipment in 2008 Crossover allows you to have confidence in your car, without diminishing
your responsibility as the driver.
Braking and ESP
All versions of 2008 have a high level of active safety thanks to the
presence of the ESP control system. It consolidates the functions of
Anti Wheel-Lock (ABS), Traction Control (ASR), Electronic Brake
Distribution (EBV and CBC), Emergency Brake Assistance (EBA), AntiStall Engine (MSR) and Intelligent Traction Control*, which improves
the handling of 2008 in difficult driving conditions.
Hill Assist
This system immobilises your vehicle for a short time (about 2 seconds)
during a hill start, the time it takes for you to move from the brake pedal
to the accelerator pedal.
*Available on 2008 equipped with Grip Control.

Cornering fog lights**

In low beam or high beam, this function allows the
beam of the front fog light to illuminate the inside of the
turn, when the vehicle speed is below 25 mph (city
driving, winding roads...).
Airbags
In the case of a collision, 6 airbags will protect
occupants: two front airbags, two side airbags and two
curtain airbags.

PEUGEOT CONNECT SOS

Peugeot Connect SOS is now in use in most major European countries, including the UK and is technology that could prove vital in an
emergency.
Automatic emergency call: if the airbags inflate or the seat belt pretensioners are triggered, the vehicle automatically makes an emergency
call on behalf of the driver. PEUGEOT CONNECT SOS* then locates the vehicle, establishes telephone communication with its occupants and
arranges for the appropriate emergency service to be dispatched. Based on the point of sale of the vehicle, the communication will be made
in the vehicle owners language of origin.
Manual emergency call: whether the victim or the witness of an emergency situation, the driver is able to call PEUGEOT CONNECT SOS*
quickly by pressing the SOS button located on the dashboard (and holding for 3 seconds).
