Ian Kennedy is 2-2 over his last six starts since June 2, pitching to a 3.09 ERA (12 ER, 35.0 IP) with 33 strikeouts
against nine walks in his last four starts, Kennedy has posted a 2.63 ERA (7 ER, 24.0 IP).
Yangervis Solarte has hit safely in three of his last four games, going 6-for-13 (.462) with three doubles, two RBI and a
run score.
Matt Kemp snapped his four-game hitting streak, which was one shy of his season-long (3x, last June 3-8) went 7for-16 (.438) during the streak with two doubles, two home runs, five RBI and four runs scored with multi-hit games in
three of those four games.

With two home runs hit by the Mariners tonight, Seattle now has 18 interleague home runs this year, which entered play
today ranked fourth in the American League and sixth in Major League Baseball.
Mike Montgomery pitched his second-consecutive, complete-game shutout tonight as well as the second of his career
(Last, June 23 vs. Kansas City) according to STATS LLC, this marks the seventh time in franchise history that a
Mariners pitcher threw consecutive shutouts and the first since Freddy Garcia pitched two-consecutive shutouts July 1July 6 in 2001.
o Montgomerys one-hitter is the lowest hit total Seattle has allowed this season and the lowest since the Mariners
gave up just two hits to the Texas Rangers on April 18 in Seattle the last time the Mariners pitching staff
combined to throw a one-hit game was on June 29 of last season against the Cleveland Indians in Seattle prior
to tonight, the last time a Mariners pitcher threw a complete-game, one-hit shutout was on July 6, 2009 when
Jarrod Washburn allowed just one hit in 9.0 innings pitched to the Baltimore Orioles in Seattle.
o Montgomery is the 12th rookie in Major League Baseball since 1980 to pitch consecutive shutouts and the first
since Clevelands Jeremy Sowers threw two consecutive shutouts July 22-28 in 2006 (Credit STATS LLC).
o Is 3-2 in six starts in June with a 1.62 ERA (8 ER, 44.1 IP) with 29 strikeouts against 13 walks has recorded
five quality starts in his first six Major League games.

Brad Miller blasted his seventh homer of the season tonight and his third interleague home run this year Miller ranks
tied for third on the team with Mike Zunino with three interleague homers this season Miller is 3-for-4 (.750) against Ian
Kennedy with two doubles, a home run and two RBI.
Mike Zunino belted his ninth home run of the season and his third in interleague play this year his interleague home
run total ranks tied for third with Brad Miller on the team.
