After its first ten years, what set the Rotary Club of
Holy Spirit apart from other Rotary clubs?
Holy Spirit has joined the small circle of elite clubs in the Philippines entrusted with Global Grants to support large service
projects. - Words of Francis Rivera, DG RY 2013-14.
Holy Spirit is one of 200 Rotary clubs in the world, and the only
one in District 3780, participating in the 6-year RI research
project on Associate Membership, one of four on-going research streams that could have profound impact on Rotary after 2017. RI Director Guiller Tumangan notes, Your participation as a pilot club for Associate Membership is a significant
milestone not only for your club and District 3780 but also for
the country and Zones 7 and 8.
Increasingly, our portfolio of activities includes capacity building, knowledge sharing and technology-transfer to multiply Rotarys ability to serve more beneficiaries. Examples of these initiatives are shown in this publication.
The now iconic THE DOVE, newsletter of Holy Spirit, has reinvented the way the old, paradigm-shackled club bulletin is
designed, written and distributed. THE DOVE, a modern day
Rotary newsletter, is easy to create, is reader-friendly, is weblinked, and saves trees as it eliminates the need for trash bins.
