COURSE
Start From the HQ (Long Sutton Village Hall / Sports Pavilion) ( Neutralised

Section ) Turn right. 200m turn left onto A372 towards Langport. After
2km turn right onto Hermitage Road, Upton (M). When all riders are on
Hermitage Road, start the race
Circuit Proceed up the incline over the railway bridge (M) to the T-junction (M).
Turn left onto the B3153 to Langport and proceed along the flat section
and down the hill past the road joining from the left (M), then continue
along the B3153 until turning left at the new roundabout onto the
A372 (Field Road) (M). Carry on past the Comprehensive School (M at
Crossing) and 200m round the tight bend (M) at the church. Continue
along the A372, caution at sharp right then sharp left complex, and
turn left into Hermitage Road, Upton (M) to start the next lap.
Finish At the end of the 12th lap do not turn left into Hermitage Road, Upton,
but continue along the A372 through Long Sutton past the Lime Kiln
Inn to turn left at the crossroads immediately after the 50 sign onto the
unclassified unnamed road (M). The finish is just over 1km up this road
Note All junctions will be marshalled but it is your responsibility to comply with
the traffic regulations. You must take care at all road junctions
Anticipated finish time 12.30 pm.

Points down to 15th place. To assist in placing riders it would be helpful, if you
think you are in the first fifteen, to go to the video screen at the HQ and identify
yourself. Prizes will be posted to the winners.

Risk Assesment.
Signing on will signify that you have read and accept these conditions.
Any contravention of these
regulations will be punishable by
the Commissaires, and may result in
disqualification from the race.
Competitors must:
Attend the Commissaires meeting at
09:45
Observe the rules of the road .
Display their competitor number clearly.
Remove their competitor number if
retiring.
Obey any commands given to you by
the Commissaires, motorcycle or static
marshals. These commands may be given
verbally, by hand signals or by flags, a
black flag signifies the race is stopping
immediately.
Sprint in straight lines at the finish.
Competitors must not:
Pass the first lead car.
Ride in a dangerous manner

Lapped riders may be pulled out


Other road users. Race officials will do
their utmost to keep them out of the race.
No unauthorised vehicles in the race convoy
without the prior approval of the Chief
Commissaire and the Organiser.
Animals. If there are animals on the course
the Commissaires will almost inevitably
neutralise the race until the hazard clears.
Accidents
If you are unfortunate enough to have an
accident then there will be first aid facilities
on hand. Report to first aid and let them
check you out, it is their job to decide that
you are alright. If you are seriously injured
then an ambulance will be called.

Photocopies/faxes of licences will not
be accepted, riders will be required to
purchase a day licence

1 Narrow roads through Upton.


2 Left turn onto B3151, traffic on
main road has priority
3 Fast descent, with traffic joining
from left
4 Pelican crossing after brow of hill
followed by garden centre on left
5 New roundabout at Langport.
Caution as inner lane has a very
slightly raised kerb.
6 Blind bridge and pedestrian crossing
outside school
7 Sharp left corner after school
8 Sharp right, sharp left corner at
bottom of short descent
9 Left turn to Upton is downhill, tight
and sharp
10 Left turn to finish is downhill, tight
and sharp

NO UNOFFICIAL FOLLOWING
VEHICLES
Refreshments are available at the HQ after
the race
Any complaints regarding these events
must be made in writing to the Organiser
within 48 hours of the finish.
