TIME AND DATE. Enter the calendar day, Zulu

time, month, and year (e.g., 291600NOV2012).

CONCEPT OF OPERATIONS. This paragraph

describes, in general terms, how the unit will

identify all mission essential tasks, the decisive
points of action and the main effort. Include how
you envision the mission step-by-step (use Phase I,
II, etc) from the AA (assembly area), to the ORP
(objective rally point), then to the OBJ (objective)
and back to the ORP.

OPERATION PLAN. Enter the operation order

tracking number and code name (e.g., 01-02 Blue
Shield)
REFERENCES. Enter maps, relevant publications,
and previous orders (e.g., Camp Gruber maps, AC
PAM 600-4, FM 3-21.5, STP 21-1 SMCT, OPORD
01-01)
TASK ORGANIZATION. List leader and
subordinates responsible for main efforts (e.g., CO,
XO, S3, S4, NCO, DS)
WEATHER AND LIGHT DATA. Consider
advantages or disadvantages to friendly and impact
on mission. Enter temperature in F, wind in true
heading and miles-per-hour (e.g., W at 16 mph),
humidity in percent, precipitation in percent and
type (e.g., 30% rain), sunrise/sunset in local time,
UV index in low, medium, and high. If appropriate
include pertinent notes (e.g., AM drizzle).
TERRAIN. Define area of operations & area of
interest, advantages and disadvantages to friendly
and impact on mission. Consider the following
avenues of approach, observation and fields of fire
(for instructional purposes), key terrain, obstacles,
cover and concealment (AOKOC).
MISSION OF SUPPORTING UNITS. List units that
will support your mission. Indicate who, what, when,
where and how
ATTACHMENTS AND DETACHMENTS.

a response to an event) to guarantee Cadet safety.
Include specific details such as contact names,
radio frequencies or rally points.

at rally points. Include the following points:

Cadets, attend to their needs, be responsible for
head count and distribute equipment in-between
tasks or objectives), Objective Rally Point (ORP)
