Supervisor , Finance II

broad scope under little supervision (e.g., invoice fees, purchase order numbers).
· Reconciles and posts transactions to the general ledger.
· Supports moderately complex customer inquiries, typically without escalation.
· Provides significant support on assignments (e.g., implementing a new system)
· Identifies opportunities for improvements and makes recommendations.
· Interacts with internal customers on a global basis.

Accounting Analyst
As an Accounting Analyst you will be following up on workflow messages, communicating with local
organizations, solving problems, and carrying out month end close activities such as accrual booking
and reconciliation. This will include providing managers and their businesses with vital financial
services including audit and consultancy on processes, programs and projects, ensuring that
everything is in line with hp financial policies and procedures. Your level of involvement will vary
from preparing and presenting reports to delivering technical leadership for the design and
implementation of major business programs with a significant impact on the company.
An Accounting Analyst provides the focal point for a wide spectrum of customer accounting
transaction processing questions and assistance to a broad customer base for HP WW.

Responsibilities may include depending upon job level:


• Identify over payments and under-recovery of credits due to HP
• Facilitates solutions to transaction processing problems
• Administers the collection, maintenance, reporting, and presentation of account information
• Develop solutions to various accounting problems.
• Booking invoices according to company procedures
• Verifying accuracy of invoices
• Contacting internal and external partners
• Preparing reports in Excel

Supervises a team of non-exempt individual contributors that typically support moderately complex
global financial processes.
· Responsible for hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career
development; ensures that the proper tools are in place to support the team and the processes.
· Leads a moderately complex transactional accounting process supporting HP•s global finance
function, typically exercising a basic understanding of the business to determine the best method
for achieving objectives.· Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of accounting support.· Proactively
identifies opportunities for the development of systems and tools and engages in the design.·
Supports short- and long-term planning (e.g., budgeting) for the global financial process.
· Leads accounting processes across finance function
Education and Experience Required:

· First level university degree preferred.


· Typically 5+ years of experience in an accounting role.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

· Strong understanding of accounting principles.


· Strong analytical skills.
· Good supervisory skills.
· Fluency in English.
· Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
· Good business acumen.
