Habitatge unifamiliar allat a la

urbanitzaci El Serrat de lAmetlla del
Valls. Lentorn s una urbanitzaci de cases
no gaire agradable a la Serralada Prelitoral.
Duna banda, el pendent del terreny, i de
laltra, la forta i aclaparadora presncia de
la mitgera del ve, fora de la llei, fan que la
casa prengui una direccionalitat clara cap a
les vistes que ofereix el Valls Oriental.
Ledificaci es concentra a la part alta
del solar en una sola planta (la normativa
permetia PB+1). La forma en planta s el
resultat directe dels lmits marcats per la
normativa, a excepci del costat sud, on la
casa es talla per cedir espai al jard. Altres
factors, com una inesperada claveguera
de la xarxa pblica, van acabar dajudar a
definir el volum final.
Condicionada pel pendent del terreny, la
coberta est, ms o menys, a la mateixa cota
que el carrer que dna accs a la parcella.

faana principal de la casa.

complex in the prelittoral hills. The slope of

the terrain and the overwhelming presence
of the side of the neighbours house, a wall
built without planning permission, mean that
the house is logically oriented towards the
views offered by the surrounding countryside.
Construction is concentrated on the highest
part of the site on one level (planning
regulations envisage GF+1). The layout of the
floor plan is the direct result of the regulatory
limits, except on the south side, where the
house stops short to provide more space
for the garden. Other factors, such as an
unexpected drain in the municipal sewerage
system, helped to define the final volume.
The roof, conditioned by the slope of the
site, is more or less at the same level as the
street leading to the plot, making it the main
faade of the house.
