DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:

Manage new product launch activities -- communicating with customer for manufacturing
package, coordinating internal NPI discussion and schedule, overseeing NPI builds and
signoffs, as well as presenting DFM feedback to customer
Sustaining engineering activities, including the support of production teams, root cause
analysis of manufacturing non-conformances etc
Create, control and distribute engineering change orders and maintain revision control
Verify and analyze customer supplied documents and data files
Specify and approve component alternates for purchasing
Manage the applicable areas of ERP system for customer BOM/AVL control. Create part
numbers, define process routings and generate Bills of Materials
Generate, control and distribute manufacturing process documentation including Quality
Plans/Work Instructions and Procurement specs
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor Degree, preferably in Electrical or Electronics Engineering

Minimum 2 years of project experience in technical product manufacturing
Excellent English communications skills, both written and verbal
Organized and detail oriented, work well under pressure
Software and electronic hardware design an asset
