Funds raised are currently being donated to The

Nemours Childrens Hospital Partnership for Childrens
Health to Benefit Sickle Cell Anemia Research. To
date, over $262,000 has been donated through The
Sickle Cell Tennis Classic. To find out more about

Tournament Hosts
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is a Greek Letter
Sorority founded on January 16, 1908 and has
expanded to more than 170,000 college women
worldwide.
Zeta Omega Chapter is the sixth Alumnae chapter of
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and was chartered
on April 28, 1922 in Wilmington, Delaware. The
members of Zeta Omega have proudly upheld the
purpose and traditions of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority,
Inc. in providing service to all mankind. The impact of
Zeta Omegas contributions and positive impact in
Wilmington and New Castle County, Delaware has
been realized through a number of activities including:
The Pearls of Hope Foundation, Inc., a 501(C) (3)
organization, was established as the charitable arm of
Zeta Omega. The mission of the Foundation is to
promote the advancement in education among diverse
communities, to provide scholarships and to promote
cultural, health and educational activities that support
and impact the family.
The members of Zeta Omega Chapter, of Alpha
Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the Pearls of Hope
Foundation, Inc., are pleased to continue the excellent
tradition of the Sickle Cell Tennis Classic. Our
heartfelt thanks go out to all of the participants,
