Previous path

Lets start!
The Indigo jeans bracelet is formed of three pieces: a body (the actual bracelet) , a peyote
strip (which is on the top of the bracelets body) and an embellishment peyote charm.

The body piece

Lets begin making the body in which the use
of rocailles and delicas (because of the
different sizes) will give a circular shape to
our bracelet: this way it will fit better with
wrist.
Its very important to make this piece with
nylon thread (0.14 mm): it will give a certain
consistency to it.
First of all form a strip of double ladder
stitch as shown in fig. 1.
Remember to leave a tail of thread (50 cm.
more or less).

Fig. 1

Close to form a ring stringing the thread following the path in fig. 2 : the thread will exit as
shown in fig. 3. Proceed working in tubular herringbone stitching (2A, 2B, 1A+B, 2A) each
row. Stop working when you reach 101 rows.

Fig. 3

At this point proceed

working 3 rows with
G (2G four times), and
one row decreasing 1
bead every 2
columns: youll have
only 4G . Close the
work.
Do the same thing on
the opposite side of
the bracelets body.
Changing the size of
the beads will
decrease the
diameter of the
bracelet for fitting to
the calottes.

The peyote strip

The peyote strip is worked directly to the body of the bracelet, beginning from each of the
B lateral columns. Pass the thread through the 1st column exiting immediately after the
36th row and string 1C (this bead will be over the bead of the 37th row). Proceed following
the path of fig. 5: you have stringed 15C.
Work odd peyote :5 round C, 1 round E and 2 rounds F, beginning the odd round always
with 1C. Suspend the work and make the same on the opposite gold column. Join the two
parts of the strip with a round of F. Stop here. On the next page you can see the strip
pattern.

This is the peyote strip pattern (fig. 2): the black path shows how to join the two parts of
the strip, adding a round of F; the red line indicates the return path to better fix the work.

Fig. 2
The last thing to complete the strip is a picot round on each side of it (fig. 3).
Passing the thread through the first C of the sideof the strip, *string 2E, 1H, 2E*.
Repeat from * to * twice.

The embellishment

String 8D and close to form a ring. Exiting with the thread

as shown in the fig. 1, string 1H following the black path.
Work the next round stringing 1E (eight times) between
the two F of the previous round. (fig. 2)

At this point *string 3F and pass through the

F of the previous round*. Repeat from*to*
other seven times. (fig. 3)

Fig. 3

The fig. 4 shows the path of the last

round: *string 1H and pass down to the
second F of the previous round*.
Repeat from *to* other seven times.
You have completed the embellishment!

Assembling the bracelet

Your bracelet is almost completed.
Fit the calottes to each side of the bracelet,
put a jump ring on each calotte. Before closing the ring on one side of the bracelet, put the
trigger clasp and the other ring with the embellishment (look at the photo below).
You have finished!
