HOSPITALS The Cabinet Secretary has instructed that the Ministrys Communication team be disbursed the soonest time possible to visit the County Government Hospitals for a fact finding mission in the devolved health sector. The communication team will be expected to collect evidence based information on the actual situation of the operations of the County Hospitals through videos, photographs, interviews of both the patients and the doctors. The Cabinet Secretary directed that the team should first single out hospitals that are carrying out dialysis at the County level such as Bomet, Kisii and Wajir respectively. The report will enable the CS to advice government on health issues under devolved system of government especially in the area of Cancer Diagnosis and specialized equipment acquisition. The purpose of this memo is to kindly request you to facilitate the communication team listed below to travel to, Nakuru, Bomet, Kisii and Kisumu to cover the Level 5 hospitals from Thursday, 20 th to 23rd November, 2014. 1.
