 Brochure

Description: This is a brochure with pricing for King

Queen Productions
Programs: Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Date: July 11, 2015
Instructor: Joel Judkins
Objectives: To use King Queen Productions for all
your videography and photography needs
Process: This brochure took over 20 hours to create.
The paper used was cardstock and the printing was
done at Alphagraphics here in Rexburg. The logo was
created in Indesign and I took the photos myself. The
cut out was handcut

 LOGOS
Description: These logos were created with the
intention of using them for my Photography and
Videography company. I call it King Queen Productions. I plan to use one of these as a watermark for my work in the future.

Objective: To hire King Queen Productions and
their Royal services.
Process: I used pinterest to gather inspiration. I
like more quirky fonts so thats what I tried to
use. I mainly used the selection tool and the direct selection tool. I also paid careful attention to
aligning everything correctly so that the shapes
were even and then worked with the text.

 BUSINESS CARDS
Description: This stationery was created with
the intention of using it for my future career
as I develop my production company.
Programs: Illustrator

Objectives: The message is to use King Queen

Process: I used basic skills in Illustrator and
to create the business cards. To create the
business cards, I used mainly the direct selection tool and the width tool to create the
logo.

 LETTERHEAD
Description: This stationery was created
with the intention of using it for my future
career as I develop my production company.
Programs: Illustrator, Indesign

Process: I took just the crown from Illustrator and lowered the capacity and placed it
in the center of the page to create a background. In my draft, I felt as if there was
too much going on at the top, so I simplified the text and placed it in the center and
enlarged the text of the second line so it
would not appear to be centered. I then
put my information in the bottom right corner to create contrast.
Objectives: The message is to use King
Queen Productions for all your videography
and photography needs.

 MONTAGE

Description: This an Ad that could potentially be

featured in the New Era.
Programs: Photoshop
Date: June 13, 2015
Instructor: Joel Judkins
Process: basic photography skills were used as
well as basic editing tools. Masking played an important role in creating this project. This project
would not have been possible if it were not for
the masking.
Objective: Keep your sights on the temple.

 EVENT AD

Description: The Maurices Rexburg fundraiser, Fashion for the Fighters, is a fashion show dedicated to
raising money for cancer research. The target audience is the female population of Rexburg, Idaho.
Programs: Microsoft Word
Date: May 16, 2015
Instructor: Joel Judkins
Objectives: To get the community to attend this local
fashion show.
Process: The image used was given to the cause by a
local Rexburg photographer and all clothing and accessories can be found at Maurices. The image was
scanned in the Mckay Common area of the BYUi library. The color scheme was created to match that of
the colors of the image. They were each copied directly from the image and inputed into the text, side fill
space and the shape boxes behind the text. The font
used is called Top Modern and it falls under the Slab
Serif category.

 PHOTODESIGN
Description: This is an advertisement for a local
Rexburg car dealership.
Programs: Photoshop
Date: May 23, 2015
Instructor: Joel Judkins
Objectives: The message of this flyer is that shopping at Rexburg Autosales is a cost effective way
to purchase a vehicle and that its where the savvy
people buy vehicles.
Process: For this project, Adobe Photoshop CC
2014 was used as well as a Canon T5i to take the
photograph. Basic photoshop skills were used to
edit the image and format the shapes and text
wrapped around it. FOCUS principles were used
to create continuity throughout the project. The
project was created with a target audience, was
thoughtfully organized visually, and a single color
scheme was used to create unity.

Process: Basic lines and typography were
used in the creation of this flier. All design was done in InDesign.
