1. PRELIMINARY INTERVIEW PROCESS A REPORT:

We have given notification on 14th February, 2007 for our school
teaching posts.

We got around 1459 applications for approximately 45 to

50 posts. 435

applications are short listed for preliminary interview.

After we posted the call letters with a format to all the listed candidates, a
committee was constituted for

the purpose of preliminary interview

process.

The Preliminary interview process is scheduled to be held from 02.04.07 to

15.04.07 everyday between 9.30 A.M. & 6.00 P.M. Candidates are asked to
report by 9.00 A.M.

Each day a batch of 30 candidates is called for the

interview. The certificates of the candidates are verified by Mr.Pingali Kumar,

R.L.O and Ms.Mamatha front office.

The entire process consisted of III

phases like,

1. A written test which included descriptive and objective questions of

general nature.
2. A group discussion allotting 15 minutes of time for each group of 10
members. A topic having relevance with the field of education was
given for discussion and the members of the Selection Committee
acted as judges.
3. A personal interview by a panel consisting of the Convenor, Subject
expert, one observer (representative on behalf of parents) Chief coordinator DPS, Vijayawada and the Head Master of DPS Vijayawada.

The duration of interview for each candidate was a minimum 15

minutes.

Assessment of candidates is made on the basis of certain norms and

principles of evaluation.
